@chambleebrandel ANGC needs to reign it in a bit... what happened to the 'one ball' rule, i.e. no practice shots? Rory knew exactly where the proper misses were and had a pre-defined chipping strategy for every pin location. Did he practice these chips on course, not honoring the 'one ball' rule?

Every single professional player who qualified for the Masters could go early and play as many practice rounds as they wish. Just as so many others, including Jack Nicklaus, have done in the past. The only advantage Rory had over the field was his considerable skill.

As Sharpay said, “out with the old, in with the new”, started Dec 17, 2025, Basic Economy got a little glow-up (and a little tougher love) and they no longer earn AAdvantage miles or Loyalty Points. No stress though, if you want the full “bang for your buck,” grabbing Main Cabin or higher is the move since it keeps you earning and comes with fewer restrictions, which honestly is the real win.
