So after yesterday’s tweet, I’ve realised a lot of United fans are allergic to healthy competition the moment it involves their favourite player Mainoo is a fantastic talent. Last season, we lacked quality depth in midfield…so naturally he played a lot of minutes. Now the midfield is stronger. Nobody should be guaranteed a starting spot not Mainoo, not Tielemans, not santos, not Mount. That’s what healthy squads look like. Players earn their place every week. Somehow, some of you read that as an attack on Mainoo when it was actually a compliment to how much our midfield has improved. 😭 And to everyone shouting “go back to the kitchen”… 😂😂 I’ll keep sharing my football opinions.
