But right after the ceremony one of the bridesmaids pulled her aside and said she had to change or leave because there was “too much white” in her dress. I know there’s a longstanding tradition that guests should avoid wearing white to weddings out of respect for the bride, and maybe picking a dress with zero white would have been the safest move. That being said, this is clearly a soft pink floral dress. It doesn’t come across as bridal at all. I’m curious… do you think this dress was too white to wear to a wedding?
