To those trying to character assassinate me online for a bad pull in Diremaul WoW Hardcore. This is Hardcore WoW and a lot is on the line when you step foot into a dungeon. Here is a light breakdown of the last 24 hours. Our party went the wrong way and overpulled multiple packs with a boss. The shotcaller made the call to run then went back on that call. During the run out another pack was pulled as we had opted to skip it previously which is never a good thing. Communication was completely broken throughout this and it was our second time failing the dungeon. Everyone played poorly and two people ultimately lost their characters for it. Each person in this group made mistakes including myself. I have never once said I was perfect in my play nor that I was a god gamer. I'm just an ex-Blizzard employee that has played mage for a long time. To pin that on a single person is absurd at best and if you're calling for death and cancellation over it you're too invested in this content in a very unhealthy way. If you're a creator engaging in this kind of behavior then eventually your content wave will end but the relationships you've sullied will be permanent. Hope it was worth it for you. To those trying to defend me. Don't worry about it. This too shall pass. Do not attack anyone else on my behalf. I've always hated that kind of behavior. I have no intention of stopping making things or not doing stuff as I already have been. Those who were banned will stay so. I've never liked that kind of knee-jerk reaction behavior in our community before and I will not be changing that now. For those that don't understand why they will stay banned. We had a ten hour long hate-raid over it live on Twitch. We had to ban nearly 4,000 accounts across all platforms and our moderators received death threats regularly throughout it all. People called for me to be killed both in-game and out of game. They tried to get me banned from Twitch, the guild, and WoW. They tried to make disparaging comments about our ferret rescue or that we somehow hurt animals. They tried to spread rumors saying I was convicted of felonies and many other things. The internet hate machine will not defeat me or the community that supports me. See you in WoW Hardcore tomorrow.

First off you don't deserve any of the threats especially death related. Its probably a mixture of wow players & your hate watchers coming out to take advantage of this scene. Which is Pathetic, However some things need to be said. I'd like to give you some insight. Maybe you already know, maybe you dont. As a WoW Creator I'd like to point out that MOST people aren't really mad about you roaching out. That's a behavior we see often and meme on. The deaths suck.. It happens. Was it possible for everyone to be saved? Yes 100000% BUT thats not the point. People are upset because of the way you closed things out, as well as being a complete asshole. Some might laugh at this but in a death situation, lots of players PANIC HARD and some even show their hidden sides. I really mean this.. and that day, we all saw some odd behaviors. Its no secret. It's truly not about the roaching, its the cynical intent you had to push yourself to lie, such a Dishonest move. (and you tripled down on this LIVE) you kept mentioning the "shot caller" called run, so you ran. That doesnt add up to me.. Why didnt you go back then? When they called "come back" (shot caller btw) Instead of going back you took offense to these words "come back" and replied "look at my mana" "what do you want me to do?" While quickly hovering your mouse over the mana gem & Rob of the Archmage (for ppl that need context these two items restore mana instantly, which he purposely didnt use FULLY knowing) You knew what you were doing, you wanted to play the smartass and not look like a coward so instead you lied to us all. "look at my mana" then you press Ice barrier into a blink again.. trying prove yourself to stream that you really have no mana.. (he's squeezing every last bit he can, its such a poor attitude, Rather do this then save the team. Wanting to be sooo right in that moment) you're not fooling any Classic WoW players with that move. Saying there is nothing I can do. You kept digging to save your ego, instead of simply using those items to help out OR tell the truth. Such an evil act.. and for what? Look smart on stream for a few hrs?? Trick a bit of viewers that dont play wow? Like show some decency. Its okay to be wrong, say the right things man. Now comes the sad part where you guys are in a argument after 2 players just died.. Instead of showing some empathy, you make it about yourself and leave the call.. (I made zero mistakes, you guys pulled, I left ??????? wth is this mentality?? Where does it come from? You were lying and being mean for no reasons, insecurity? ) Anyone that tried to explain to you or make you come to your sense (in twitch chat) you call them all a dumbass and ban them. Lastly the call with Tyler1 (2nd discord call happens with current GM) Everything should've been hashed out THERE, NONE of this wouldve happened then. Yet you leave the call again when it comes to Yamatos turn to speak. SUPER disrespectful especially after they heard your part of the explanation. Yamato says a sentence and you leave immediately??? Thats not how you handle things. This isnt a group of randoms.. You dont get to walk away from your problems, its a guild. Treat each other fairly and show some respect. Its also a HUGE disrespect towards Soda, this guy put in so much time for this to work and you cant say a simple "My bad"?? like cmon. Now ppl think hes running a terrible guild yet its the complete opposite, this has been an amazing run. So here I am typing this long msg so you or any of the viewers can understand the roots and cause. Most of the guild members are confused too, they dont even know what to say. The team focused on SoD has spent a good chunk of the last few days chewing on a rather large list of class adjustments coming soon (likely actually soon, not "soon tm" soon). As always we want to prime everyone that it's not going to fix every single thing everyone wanted, but we are continuing to iterate. We've been watching discords and forums for ideas and suggestions as we go, and while that's fine and good, I figured it might be a fun exercise to probe for a few suggestions here to a few targeted questions. Disclaimer; there may be an excellent idea in here that you love that we can't execute on for whatever reason. Game dev isn't easy and sometimes you have to pass on a good idea for a myriad of reasons. It's nothing sinister and its not us being tone deaf. Many things are also too big to hotfix so we have to think about what we do now vs. next phase. So, feel free to post suggestions or links to media with good suggestions in reply. Please do keep it civil though both towards me/the team and each other. I've been increasingly having to mute/block folks with abusive or unhelpful commentary so let's all be chill humans together. Lastly, please try and frame your suggestion with both a) the issue to be addressed, and b) your suggestion--phrased as concisely as possible. We likely won't have time to read super long posts/threads to find the meat of your point, so this will help (he says, while typing a super long post himself). Anyway, here goes: 1. Shadow DPS - We'd like to increase damage while allowing them to still shine in terms of group utility, particularly because their utility/value is likely to increase even further at 60 with some new stuff coming. One thing we also keep coming back to as well is wanting to restore mind flay to having a place in the toolkit. With that in mind, how would you suggest improving Shadow DPS with those goals in mind? 2. Survival Tree for Hunters - We know a lot of melee hunters really want Survival to be a thing and we agree that it really fits that "RPG ranger" class fantasy. Currently, BM tends to outstrip it in terms of raw output. What do you think could be interesting to zhuzh this up and make a deepish survival investment interesting? 3. Holy Paladins - We did you guys a bit dirty by not giving you interesting buttons to push like every other healing class. Viewed through a level 60 vanilla lens holy is great, but in SoD it leaves a lot to be desired. One thing we've been discussing is a group heal or some sort of proactive heal mechanic for Holy, but interested to hear some concise ideas here. 4. Sword Rogues - We have some adjustments coming in the upcoming update but we are open to ideas for how to make Saber Slash and other sword gameplay compelling. Might simply be a "do moar damage" adjustment that fixes this in the end, but we are interested in "feelsy" adjustment ideas too. 5. Warriors - Rage is a problematic mechanic because more damage = more rage = more damage = more rage ad infinitum. This is going to become more problematic at 60 as well. If we had it to do over again, we'd likely have normalized rage (i.e. you don't get extra rage when you do more damage/crit) at the start of the season and focused on major changes to their gameplay to compensate. The way it works now really hamstrings the design options for Warriors as we have to worry about the historically best dps in the game becoming even better later and forcing us to do an absolutely massive nerf which everyone would hate. To you, what would be a good trade for some form of normalized rage at 60 if we had to do such a thing? To close us out--at this point, we are always open to novel ideas for any class, including things that don't just strictly borrow from future expansions. Our philosophy on this has shifted from when we started developing this season and now we'd love to experiment with totally NEW mechanics (that ideally fit somewhat plausibly into the classic ecosystem). Not to say we won't use future expansion spells, but there's a willingness to expand our horizons a bit. Anyway sorry for the length. We've had a lot of fun just trawling discords and forums recently but figured I'd just throw this into the maelstrom and see what we get here as well. Thanks! @AggrendWoW Arcane mage could really use some love. Ever since the Living Flame nerf down to 20 seconds, Arcane has been feeling awful. We can hardly beat our pre nerf numbers from Gnomer. Would there ever be consideration for AB buffing itself? This spills into Healing not feeling as good.

@Konwizzle @AggrendWoW To be fair I think you are just bad at pvp. chamans are busted they lose to no one. they can even kill a bm hunter pet then send the hunter. enhance destroys war face to face. And chamans was always about using his diverse totems kit to win match ups.

@AggrendWoW DPS shamans are awful in PvP right now for two reasons: 1. Enhance has no gap closer 2. Elemental has the shortest range of any caster and no 70% pushback protection talent. EotS is a joke. We need instant ghost wolf for Enh and pushback prot for Ele
