The OK Senate just passed 4 important PBM bills. My Dad was Oklahoma Pharmacist Association president about 10 years ago and earlier was named the national Most Innovative Community Pharmacist of the Year. I ran a pharmacy for 5 years. I’ve seen the challenges on the ground. These PBM bills help keep those doors open so our seniors and small-town neighbors can still walk in and talk to the pharmacist who knows their name. Not perfect, but a real step in the right direction. Grateful to the authors and members who leaned in and got it done.
