A few years ago, this kind of signage would’ve made headlines in Canada. Now, it’s normalized.
Worse yet, the people looking the other way are the same ones who spent years histrionically calling everything “racist.” Their concerns for social justice never extended to Jews.

Today would have been my Bubby’s 100th birthday.
She missed it by three months.
Her life should have broken her.
Her mother was taken away with tuberculosis when she was a little girl.
For eight years she was passed between families.
Much of her extended family was killed in the Holocaust.
Then she was widowed in her 20s with two small children.
And yet when you were with her you never felt any of that.
Only warmth. Only love. Only her famous smile.
She became frum later in life and made gratitude her guiding principle.
She lived to see over 100 descendants.
Every Friday I called her. Those conversations meant the world to me.
She taught me something I’ll never forget:
Gratitude isn’t something that happens to you.
It’s something you choose.
Miss you, Bubby.

Much of the media is celebrating the first anniversary of Mark Carney as Prime Minister, suggesting his first year in office has delivered significant progress. The data, however, tells a more complicated story.
Canada currently posts the highest food inflation rate among G7 countries.
The overall unemployment rate has remained largely unchanged, while youth unemployment continues to climb.
The national deficit has nearly doubled.
Interprovincial trade barriers—despite a commitment to eliminate them by July 1, 2025—remain firmly in place.
Our tariff situation with the United States has deteriorated compared with when he took office. Meanwhile, several of the transformational projects announced months ago have yet to receive formal approval.
Either there is something I’m missing, or parts of the media narrative surrounding the first year of Prime Minister Carney’s mandate are significantly disconnected from the underlying economic indicators.

"Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah."
In the face of the Jihadists on Al Quds Day, we came together as Canadians to pray for peace and freedom by singing “Hallelujah.”
Canadians of all different backgrounds Christians, Jews, Venezuelans, Cubans, and of course Iranians, all sang the beautiful song by the great Canadian Leonard Cohen in defiance of the IRGC and in hope of a better world for the people of Canada and Iran, free of terrorists.🦁🌞

@JayGenXer Um, yeah, don't do that and sobriety for the win.
A drunk population is what helped to create this mess in the first place.

Happy 1st anniversary, Mark Carney!
-Deficit doubled
-Highest food inflation in the G7
-2nd highest unemployment in the G7
-No pipelines approved
-Homebuilding dropping 15%
-Immigration system still broken
-Violent crime skyrocketing in our major cities
A year later, illusion meets reality. Congratulations, sir, you’re just another Liberal.

This may be the stupidest thing ever said in the House of Commons, and after 10+ years of Liberals that says a lot.
Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Gregor Robertson:
"It's no surprise that Canadians are challenged with buying homes right now when there is a war right now in the Middle East."
