deja vu all over again!! variational just closed a $50M series A, led by dragonfly, with bain capital crypto and coinbase ventures also in. and here’s the full picture. they raised $10.3M seed back in 2021, then a $1.5M strategic round in june 2025. this $50M brings total raised to ~$61.8M. same energy as when lighter announced their raise, except var still hasn’t dropped a valuation, which is actually the more interesting part. lighter raised $68M at $1.5B valuation. roughly a ~22x multiple on the raise. if variational is anywhere close to that math, we’re looking at a $1B valuation easy. with dragonfly leading and coinbase ventures in the mix, we’re prolly looking at $500M–$1B+ imo. these guys don’t bet on mid projects. people farming rn are still early, this raise just confirmed the thesis. don't forget the rwa play, this is the real one. variational is literally building to bring tradfi liquidity onchain. oil, commodities, real world assets on a perp dex. literally a bridge to the $100T tradfi market. trade on variational or stay sidelined, sign up with my ref for a 15% point boost: omni.variational.io/?ref=OMNIVICTO…

I first heard of THORChain $RUNE years ago from talk of integrating $XMR. Its being delivered at long last. This is going to change crypto forever.

This industry is seriously underestimating the impact of integrating Monero, Zcash, and Dash into Thorchain. All native, permissionless, and never done before. Yet, $RUNE is sitting at ~200M FDV, down 97% from ATH, and ranking behind trash coins like WIF and Sandbox.

Sorry to hear this. Public markets stopped being truly public a long time ago. We entered an environment where information asymmetry dominates everything. Fundamentals, macro, and logic take a back seat when this casino is driven by insiders, liquidity traps, and engineered fake moves. I’ve never seen smart traders hunted this aggressively while low-IQ trading gets rewarded. Eventually, this disconnect reaches the real economy. Consumers will feel it directly, and at that point the damage can no longer be ignored.

@KillaXBT There aren’t many traders trading big size currently in the market. Volume is at atl. All smart money is shorting. The goal of the market makers / CEX cabal / US is to liquidate guys like you to protect their fake rally. Exposing your trades publicly will make you a prey.

I don’t hold any altcoins anymore, BUT, I need to admit that the $RUNE ecosystem is the most battle-tested and resilient in the space. Both $RUNE and $RUJI have survived black swan events and follow Satoshi’s vision closely. They’re the last standing in a space full of scams and greed. That’s why I hope they win.
