@DanCanCode @ianlandsman @aarondfrancis Same. I wish I had started sooner. I’ve still had quite a bit of lifestyle creep come from making more money than I was 10 years ago. But I think it’s much MUCH less than it would be if I didn’t use YNAB.

I don’t think @ianlandsman or @aarondfrancis would like that I spend 5 minutes every day in YNAB. Hot take: micro-budgeting can be good. (Take coming from me and my *checks app* 79 categories)

@ynab I’d support Australian bank account syncing. Something you guys seem completely uninterested in doing given how little it would take you. Yet your Aussie users are still paying the same inflated price as everyone who is able to sync with their banks. Sort it out!

I’ve been using @ynab for a few years and one thing I love is being able to budget a month ahead! I’ve never been able to get a solid grasp on my finances but I am no longer living paycheck to paycheck! #ynab

@ynab can we get a “Delete payees with no transactions” button? payees get added from pending transactions, which then clear with a slightly different payee. this results in two payees, combining/deleting is tedious alternatively only record payees from cleared transactions

@micah_gj When I did use an app, it was YNAB. No idea what they're charging these days, but their system was the one that worked best for me.

Do you guys use budgeting apps? Or by hand? I'm going to attempt (yet again for the nth time) to start living on a budget and I've never really found a system that works for me

@stickpenalties YNAB mention! that's what i've been using for the past... four-five months? i was briefly trying Buckets, which basically seems to be trying to redevelop YNAB but not as expensive, but i'm only YNAB didn't try actual, it intimidates me! plus i also want goals

Love YNAB but every other time I renew sub, I feel it's extremely expensive. Coupled with the few minutes of work I have to do ( every 3/4 days ) to auto sync data into it with Mono
