Never buying Cadbury's @CadburyUK chocolate again. Opened a box of milk tray and my first experience of the new manufacturing with palm oil. Loved it all my life, but not now. Horrible taste and texture. oleaginous. 🤢

ONCE AGAIN MEDIA ARE NOT TELLING FULL TRUTH AND @Conservatives and other opposition parties are either thick or lying TELL THE FULL STORY We condemn in the strongest terms recent attacks by Iran on unarmed commercial vessels in the Gulf, attacks on civilian infrastructure including oil and gas installations, and the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iranian forces.  We express our deep concern about the escalating conflict. We call on Iran to cease immediately its threats, laying of mines, drone and missile attacks and other attempts to block the Strait to commercial shipping, and to comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817. Freedom of navigation is a fundamental principle of international law, including under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. The effects of Iran’s actions will be felt by people in all parts of the world, especially the most vulnerable.  Consistent with UNSC Resolution 2817, we emphasise that such interference with international shipping and the disruption of global energy supply chains constitute a threat to international peace and security. In this regard, we call for an immediate comprehensive moratorium on attacks on civilian infrastructure, including oil and gas installations. We express our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait. We welcome the commitment of nations who are engaging in preparatory planning. We welcome the International Energy Agency decision to authorise a coordinated release of strategic petroleum reserves. We will take other steps to stabilise energy markets, including working with certain producing nations to increase output. We will also work to provide support for the most affected nations, including through the United Nations and the IFIs. Maritime security and freedom of navigation benefit all countries. We call on all states to respect international law and uphold the fundamental principles of international prosperity and security. Following publication, Canada, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Czechia, Romania, Bahrain and Lithuania confirmed they also joined this joint leaders’ statement. gov.uk/government/new… Five European nations and Japan ready to 'contribute' to securing Hormuz European nations and Japan have said they are ready to support efforts to improve security in the Strait of Hormuz, as the war with Iran continues to disrupt shipping without a concrete military role being outlined. In a joint statement, countries including Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Japan condemned attacks on commercial vessels and said they were prepared to "contribute to appropriate efforts" to help ensure safe passage through the waterway and support stability in global energy markets. A Malta-flagged container ship was hit by a projectile while passing through the strait, forcing its crew to abandon the vessel France's President Emmanuel Macron, whose country is current president of the Group of Seven advanced economies, on Wednesday urged other G7 leaders to act to restore navigation in the Strait of Hormuz "as soon as possible".

A convicted criminal pardoned by Donald Trump is quietly funding a far-right network five minutes from Parliament. This is what the British far right looks like when nobody is watching. #ReformWatch #BenDelo #Politics

Repost if you’d like to see the return of traditional British values. Things like tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Politeness. A sense of fair play. Mutual respect. Humour and wit. Kindness and generosity. Fairness. Sportsmanship. Anti-fascism. Inclusivity.

🚨JUST IN🚨 The Oversight Committee has officially subpoenaed Attorney General Pam Bondi, after the committee passed our motion to subpoena her earlier this month. She will appear for a deposition on the Department of Justice's handling of the Epstein investigation and compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. April 14th. Under oath. No more delays. No more dodging. No more redactions. We look forward to her answers. So do the survivors.

@Anniepop2027 Speaking the truth sadly. I hope things can be dramatically improved but for the last 2 years the PLP have been treated with contempt. And we cannot pretend it isn’t happening.
