@EmiratesSupport Your helpdesk is very poor. There is no response, I was expecting better management and handling from the Emirates brand in this tough time.

Our post from 11:08am Dubai time regarding operational status is no longer current, and has been deleted to avoid causing unnecessary confusion. Emirates has resumed operations. Passengers who have confirmed bookings for this afternoon’s flights may proceed to the airport. This includes customers transiting in Dubai, if their connecting flight is also operating. Customers can check the flight schedule for upcoming flights, as well as book seats to travel: emirat.es/nowoperating Emirates continues to monitor the situation, and we will develop our operational schedule accordingly. We would like to thank our customers for their understanding and patience. The safety of our passengers and crew is our highest priority and will not be compromised.

The baseline is that India has not conceded his demands and the deal is not closing to Trump's liking. If Modi was such a supine character, US would have got a deal on its own terms. So Trump makes these statements time and again to belittle Modi. It is part of his strategy. He does not have too many options. He can't afford to completely wreck ties with India. And he thinks belittling will unsettle Modi and his Indian constituency.

“India ordered Apache helicopters and didn’t get them for 5 years. PM Modi came to me and said ‘Sir can I please see you?’ and I said yes,” claims U.S. President Donald Trump

To anyone who understands how the world works : not nuts at all. 1. Aqi is result of multiple factors of like parali burning in Pakistan. Not much we can do there 2. When same citizens are more than happy kiling themselves with pizza burger ice creams, ofcourse they simply don't care about aqi. It's a first world problem to be tackled 20 years later for every citizen 3. As soon as govt tries to rein in so called fake farmers of punjab, they make it a political issue & focus on making it farmers issue. This is the peril of living in a so called demo crazy. The demos is crazy. Don't expect their rule to be anything less than crazy What is nuts is the fact that we chose demo crazy

Delhi has the prime minister, president, Supreme Court judges, army chiefs, AIIMS doctors and most of the other powerful people in India. And, yet, the AQI is close to 1000 and the issue remains unsolved for years. How absolutely nuts is that!

On my way to the ground in Delhi and my heart sank when I saw people feeding a whole army of pigeons. Doctors have been shouting from the rooftops about the dangers of inhaling pigeon droppings and the severe lung disease it could lead to. Please, let us stop feeding pigeons.
