The baseline is that India has not conceded his demands and the deal is not closing to Trump's liking. If Modi was such a supine character, US would have got a deal on its own terms. So Trump makes these statements time and again to belittle Modi. It is part of his strategy. He does not have too many options. He can't afford to completely wreck ties with India. To anyone who understands how the world works : not nuts at all. 1. Aqi is result of multiple factors of like parali burning in Pakistan. Not much we can do there 2.
