@criminographer We had some lovely baby friendly lunches and dinners at Bistro C, Sails and El Capitano when we were there with our bub who was just a bit younger than Noosa baby at the time! It was beautiful. Enjoy every moment 💙

@fionalander Thank you. I hope so! I wouldn't mind playing with her (we tried it) but she just kept screaming. It's very unlike her. I have tried a later tea, bath and bedtime tonight to see if it helps. I can't try the medication route either

Any tips on dealing with jet lag for babies (almost 1 year old?). She has pretty much cried the entire night and can't drop off 😭 I hate seeing her so distressed and feel terribly guilty!

@criminographer We just did this flight to Europe and back with our 10mo - some airlines will let you book a bassinet eg emirates, Singapore. But our baby slept on us despite this 🙃

Trying to sort out seats on flights for the baby is wild. Some airlines say they have a limit of 8 months' age for a bassinet, others charge, others don't tell you until the gate. Looks like she is on my knee outbound to Australia for the entire journey with no seat or cot.

@MyaCubitt I would argue there are some benefits - e.g., staying more connected and current in public practice, which has flow on benefits for patients in private? But many docs have 0.1-0.2 appts at multiple public hospitals which really isn’t efficient, and not much upside
