The Chagos is one of the largest Marine Protected Areas in the world.
Giving away sovereignty to Mauritius is a disaster for marine biodiversity. 50% of corals in their lagoons are destroyed by overfishing & pollution. The same fate now awaits this MPA in the Chagos archipelago

Oh my god. This. This! No amount of optimistic, partial, cherry-picking readings can get over this and the bulk of states that support it.
HoS immunity applies before “international” courts. Deal with it.
At its best law disciplines politics, but it can’t do away with it.

oh yeah. This thing needs an abstract. Do I: (a) think hard about my paper's underlying thesis and logic and distill my core claims into an elegant, sparse precis; or (b) collate a random handful of sentences taken 80% from my introduction and 20% from section headings.
