These are called penalty payments for a reason and engineers only get them when the MTA mismanages their schedules. I think Starbucks employees who are scheduled for one shift, then get given a different shift halfway through, should also get penalty pay.

as democrats we have to he able to admit when unions are wrong, lirr workers make well over $100k a year, many over $200k. this is a ridiculous strike. not all unions are created equal
