Does anyone here have a connection to a scooper supplier (NOT PLASTIC) to insert in our cans?

Well...actually there's a specific reason for that. Most early American forts used Rosendale cement from NY. Nobody knew it at the time, but it had a few properties similar to Roman cement. Later, as the nation grew and cheaper concrete became available, they started repairing old forts with the cheaper stuff - not realizing it lacked the hydraulic properties of Rosendale cement. Forts maintained and repaired with non-Rosendale cement quite literally dissolved and became impossible to maintain, so they were abandoned. Now that we know this, the surviving forts are maintained with exclusively Rosendale and similar hydraulic cement, and are gradually being repaired from the damage done.

@MoundLore @Aelthemplaer Why are so many of these old forts completely demolished and buried? How quickly we forget our old history rather than preserving it

Robin Williams was a creepy guy, and Pierce Brosnan is not. Some guys come to mind when you need to cast a James Bond, and some guys come to mind when you need to cast a guy to dress up in women’s clothing and act like a divorced crossdresser. Women can sense this divide.
Variety@Variety

Sally Field says she thought Robin Williams "wasn't funny" while filming "Mrs. Doubtfire": “Robin was always trying something different to make me laugh. It was so unfunny. I can't begin to tell you. And then Pierce, wonderful Pierce Brosnan, we were sitting at a table at the restaurant, and he made a fart noise on his arm. And I was gone. That was it.” variety.com/2026/film/news…

@SunWeatherMan I get it, but a CD is cheaper than VIP tickets for a concert in another state. Charge what you want, but there's a case to be made for it not being exorbitant.

Literally everyone wants to see these videos. But we hosted a 100-person event, rented out a huge venue, fed EVERYONE lunch and dinner over the 5-day event, flew Roger out, then I edited 3 camera rolls for 41 hours, everyone paid a LOT of money to be there, people have paid into memberships knowing these videos were coming, Earth isn't free.

@shortmagsmle @ccmembersonly I tell my employees not to spend more than 45 minutes on their yearly goals or self assessment. If something needs to change I'm not waiting till the end of the fiscal year to let you know.

Meet the AAC M4-2000 where engineering does the talking. Every surface is finished in DLC, every choice driven by uncompromising 5.56 performance. Precision isn’t just built in, it’s obvious. And once you’re done admiring it, put it to work. The hub‑adaptable mount lets the M4-2000 transition seamlessly across your entire platform lineup, without giving up a single ounce of performance. This isn’t hype. This is the original standard. #AACM42000 #TheOriginalStandard

I was told I should post more of my radioactive collection.. These are my two “Glowbody” Minnow Fishing Lures made in 1920, each containing radium-226. ☢️ They were designed as illuminated tackle for night fishing and low light conditions, using radium mixed with a radioluminescent paint (zinc sulfide) that would excite the phosphor to help produce a steady glow. The radium is sealed inside a small internal glass vial to contain it while allowing the luminescent effect to glow through. They’re pretty safe to handle radiation wise, you just have to be careful around the actual hooks.
