@matt5530 @MaseDenver @SouthwestAir Precisely why I’m welcoming the change. Based out of MCO. I’ve been a paid early bird check in and B3 boarding position and only middle seats available after family boarding. It can be wildly bad here.

All it takes is one flight down to Orlando during summer and we’re going to Love assigned seating. You’re not gonna have a long line of pre-borderers who need a wheelchair to get on and then walk right off the plane. You won’t have 20 families boarding between an and B group. Everyone will have their assigned seat and once the gate agents get everything sorted out the process will flow just fine. My biggest issue is how expensive choosing your seat at booking is and especially the expiring flight credits.

First experience with Southwest Airlines’ new boarding procedure. It sucks now. Ruined a functional, efficient process. No reason to choose @SouthwestAir over other carriers anymore.
