Florida reports a new single-day record of 5,508 coronavirus cases. No mask mandate. No testing and tracing. The Governor had press conf. in Miami but no mention of either. Just because you're over COVID, @GovRonDeSantis, doesn't mean COVID is over. Please lead.

Today, FL once again reached it’s highest number of COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began with nearly 4,000 new cases. This resurgence requires immediate action from @GovRonDeSantis to mitigate the spread before more lives are lost and our state is forced to shut down again.

Good afternoon! Back on the protest beat today for @MiamiHerald. I am at Bayfront Park with a group of people holding a “Law and Order rally,” who are upset about #BLM protests in the city, and who are celebrating Trump’s birthday. Notice the boats with Trump flags in the back.
