Most of those who moved to Canada and America especially and cut ties with everyone will eventually understand how foolish they were when they turn 55 or 60 and they want to move back to Nigeria for retirement. Retire to a country that has moved past them because they cut ties.

So when I was coming back from work today, there was this man in the bus carrying one big MP Speaker on his shoulder. And the funny thing is that the music was playing at what I am very sure was the highest volume possible. The music was so loud that if anybody wanted to stop at their bus stop, the person would have to scream, “Driver, I’m stopping here!" like two or three times before the driver would even hear. Sometimes other passengers would join their voices and shout “Driver! Driver! Somebody is stopping!” before the driver would finally get it. And honestly, I knew I wasn’t the only one that was uncomfortable. Everybody was just managing it. At some point, one passenger angrily said, “Oga, reduce the volume nah.” And the man didn’t even respond to her. We kept going 'busstop after busstop', and the shouting continued every single time someone wanted to drop. Finally, the driver got frustrated and said, “Oga, reduce this thing nah... Why are you playing music like this? Off it so I can hear the bus stop people are calling.” That was when the man replied to the driver: “Shey I don give you your bus money? As I don pay you, focus on your business. This MP wey I carry na my own business, the passengers should keep shouting, na that one be their business.... make everyone mind their business." Na so everybody take calm down for the bus... Omo! Na everyday, New Drama for this 9ja! 🥹😂

Every Nigerian that come in the UK should be encouraged to immediately register with a GP and do full body checks including all organs, to ensure they aren't with any underlying issues that needs to be treated or managed. We should learn to prioritize knowing our health status at all times.

I received a message from a fellow Nigerian here in the UK, and I had to reassure him that everything will be okay. It reminded me that so many people are silently going through different situations and struggles. No matter what you’re facing, please take life easy one step at a time. Don’t let pressure or expectations overwhelm you. Progress may be slow, but it’s still progress. The expectations about life in the UK are often very different from the reality on the ground. Before you make the decision to japa, please do your homework properly. Prepare yourself mentally, financially, and emotionally. Stay strong, stay patient, and don’t be afraid to reach out. We’re all trying to find our way.
