Today Status Network's gasless execution moves to a larger stage. After productive discussions among both ecosystems, Status Network will merge into @LineaBuild Mainnet! Pre-deposit vaults will migrate to Linea Mainnet for withdrawal with a liquid reward pool of 20M SNT and 20M LINEA. Vaults remain fully backed and no action is required before the claim interface goes live. Status Network will not launch as a standalone mainnet. The plan is to merge our gasless execution model and sequencer-level spam protection mechanism upstream to become native capabilities for every rollup built on the Linea stack. This move will unlock new privacy primitives for the whole ecosystem as removing gas eliminates persistent onchain funding trails and fingerprints, enabling ephemeral stealth accounts and free cover traffic. Bullish thesis for @LineaBuild What I like when I joined the Linea team is the consistency While many are chasing hype and tendances, Linea decide to keep the same narrative and ethos: scaling Ethereum without trade-off. Before Linea TGE, almost if not all the Layers 2 had a governance token with a goal of boostrap their ecosystems (funding apps), while the majority of the tokens was for the team & VCs. Almost no value returned to the token holders, never! At Linea, our goal is to create different sources of revenue through various mechanisms: => Technical Engineering => Financial Engineering => Usage These aspects allow us to be credible to a large number of institutions and regulations around the world It unlocks many opportunities for them to build onchain in a safe and regulated way and being a more efficient business. Florian Huc (@florian_huc) from @Consensys delivered a deep dive into how #ZK proofs shape every layer of modern rollups from L1 validation to private-state execution. 🔍Key insights from the session: • ZK rollups rely on tightly coupled proving pipelines: execution traces → circuits → proofs → L1 settlement • Validation requires matching on-chain data commitments with the data used inside the proof • Multi-prover architectures (TEE + ZK) strengthen safety, resilience, and completeness guarantees • “Stage 2” rollups will mix consensus, TEEs, and alternate provers for robustness • ZK isn’t just for validation as it unlocks real privacy: proving truths without revealing underlying data • Private-state models enable controlled access, auditability, and tailored confidentiality profiles for both retail + institutions A clear and grounded look at ZK’s dual role: verifying what happened and protecting what shouldn’t be revealed.
