@Gfilche @elonmusk But more than half of Bitcoin mining happens in China, and there most of the grid energy comes from coal. I do believe in the future of crypto, but perhaps mining algorithm/efficiency needs to be improved.

@SamTalksTesla @Gfilche @elonmusk It’s a huge stretch to say $TSLA sold its own stock buy BTC. It sold stock to improve its balance sheet, and allocated the some of the cash on books to BTC. There is no implication on the performance of the stock vs crypto!

Tesla sold its own stock & used that money to buy #Bitcoin ... this still fascinates me. At least some part of @elonmusk’s brain thinks Bitcoin will be more stable, appreciate more, or be inversely correlated to $TSLA’s equity price 🤔
