idTech 8 style Global Illumination (FAST AS HELL) in @threejs (via WebGPU) I've worked on this for 5 weeks (on and off) and it's still not there, but all the core tenets work. Next more denoising + better temporal accumulation, and some larger scale examples. (Running at 4K)

I Combined ChatGPT 5.5 Image-2 + Claude Fable 5… And Built This FULL Game in JUST 8 Hours 😱 The World Has Officially Changed Forever Guys… I still can’t believe what I just pulled off. I took ChatGPT 5.5’s new Image-2 to generate every single visual characters, environments, UI, particles, everything and paired it with Claude Fable 5 for the entire codebase. The result? A complete, polished, fully playable game… finished in only 8 hours. No massive team. No months of crunch. No expensive asset packs. Image-2 created mind-blowing art assets on demand. Fable 5 turned those images into real, working code mechanics, physics, AI, animations, menus everything. This hybrid combo is straight-up sorcery. The world has truly changed. We are no longer waiting years for games to be made. One person + these two god-tier AIs just built something that used to require entire studios and huge budgets… in less than a single workday. This is the next level of human civilization. This is what creation looks like from now on. But here’s the crazy part: This free access ends June 22, 2026. After that, you’ll have to pay/subscribe to keep using it. If you’ve been waiting to see what the future of game dev actually looks like… THIS IS IT. Go try it right now before the paywall hits. Don’t sleep on this. Seriously. Drop in the comments: What game should I build next with this insane Image-2 + Fable 5 hybrid? Like if your mind is blown too 🔥 And tag a friend who NEEDS to see this before it’s gone. The future isn’t coming… It’s already here. And it’s free for one more day only. #Fable5 #ChatGPT55 #Image2 #AIHybrid #GameDevRevolution

The price to rent an Nvidia H200 just collapsed from $7/hr to $4/hr in three weeks. A -40% drop in the cost of the single most strategic asset in tech. When the underlying commodity that powers your entire thesis loses 40% of its value in a month, that usually means one of two things: supply finally caught up, or demand was never as deep as the headlines said. Either way, somebody is selling. So why is the AI trade still pricing in scarcity?

🚨 The AI ROI numbers are starting to look very ugly. Even under "best case" assumptions — assuming zero costs, just revenue against capex — the Financial Times calculated the implied return on hyperscaler AI investment from 2025 to 2030. Only one of them clears positive. Implied return on AI investment (FT / Panmure Liberum) – Microsoft: -9.2% – Alphabet: -15.7% – Amazon: +7.2% – Meta: -28.8% – Oracle: -35.6% And remember: that's assuming zero costs. In reality, GPUs depreciate, power bills run, salaries get paid. The real returns are worse. This is exactly why the dot-com comparison keeps coming up. Incredible technology does not automatically mean sustainable economics. The internet survived. Most internet companies didn't. Two anecdotes from this week alone Vivek Garipalli, Fortune 20 insider: a CEO asked for $1B in AI-driven opex savings this year. The team spent $200M on tokens chasing it. The results? Modest customer service savings and slightly less hiring in engineering. The CEO has now ordered token costs to be dramatically slashed because the ROI isn't there. Axios: an AI consultant reported a single client spent half a billion dollars in one month after forgetting to put usage limits on Claude licenses for employees. Right now hyperscalers are spending trillions hoping future demand catches up to present capex. That's not certainty. That's a leveraged bet. The technology is real. The infrastructure buildout is real. The eventual winners will be real. But "AI is transformative" and "every hyperscaler will earn its capex back" are two completely different statements. In 2000, the internet was real too. Cisco has recovered. After 26 years…

There are millions of crypto exactly like bitcoin there’s nothing unique to bitcoin other than it was first. I just think it’s dead money I sold all my bitcoin at around $80,000. 2 years ago or whatever it was to buy my house. I have since gone full into ai like $MU and made returns I don’t think bitcoin will ever make from here on out

Funny how @APompliano just went on @CNBC to make the case for Bitcoin, but touted the track record of gold instead. The fact that gold outperformed the S&P in the past has no relevance to Bitcoin, as Bitcoin is not gold. But don't expect @JoeSquawk to understand the difference.

went from Slovakia to Austria yesterday, and the drop in capitalism you experience is so depressing you cross the border -> all stores are closed at 8 PM no way to buy groceries, if you actually work during the day and go shopping after work Austria is a beautiful place to live, but socialism here really got the upper hand and it's sad

Impressive scale. Question though — does this view break down cached input vs fresh input vs output tokens? Because at 79K avg tokens per request, the cache hit ratio is the metric that tells the real story. For comparison, my own monitor over the same window shows 12.26B cache reads against 692K fresh input tokens. ~17,700:1 cache-to-fresh ratio. Cost profile is two orders of magnitude lower for comparable agentic workload. Not a dunk. The point is that token volume without cache visibility hides whether the harness is actually economically efficient or just expensive. Cost-per-shipped-outcome is the KPI. Token totals alone can't tell you that. Genuinely curious what your cache hit rate looks like — if Codex/OpenClaw don't expose it, that's its own interesting data point about where the OpenAI tooling is vs the Anthropic side.

It's not impossible—it's engineering. The eastern ridges in that image are tough but nothing new. Panama Canal cut mountains with explosives in 1914. Modern TBMs bore through harder rock daily (see Switzerland's Gotthard or China's projects). Suez expansions already proved scale in similar desert terrain. Cost and politics are the real barriers, not physics. Facts over hype.
