Nigerian Air Force attacked terrorists in Sambisa Forest. They got correct information and saw them hiding in strong places and bunkers. The attack killed many of them. The Air Force used planes after checking from spy reports. It was a successful military operation. very good

@dmightyangel @seunokin It's surprising that many rate @seunokin as unbiased. His shows often reflect subtle criticism of government policies and the APC, and his conduct at the MBA conference recently further reinforces that perception.

Lol, and @seunokin brought an IT EXPERT to his show last week who couldn't see the obvious but was pontificating based on personal sentiment instead of at least acting PROFESSIONAL for a moment. Even if the account owner changes the name 100 times, the comment credited to that "Amupitan handle" under that tweet ought to still remain under the original tweet of Dayo Israel which is not the case, because......That comment was NEVER under that Tweet at any point in time, it was fabricated.

@engr_shaibu_ If Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nyesom Wike, Babatunde Fashola, or Godswill Akpabio had diverted $500M meant for infrastructures into personal businesses while their states remained underdeveloped, it would be labelled corruption. But when it's Peter Obi, it's suddenly justified abi?

I congratulate Tunde Onakoya @Tunde_OD on setting a new world chess record and sounding the gong of Nigeria's resilience, self-belief, and ingenuity at the square of global acclaim. I celebrate this Nigerian Chess Champion and founder of Chess in Slums Africa for his rare feat, but especially for the reason driving this compelling demonstration of character, which is raising funds for African children to learn and find opportunity through chess. Tunde has shown a streak customary among Nigeria's youth population, the audacity to make good change happen; to baffle impossibility, and propel innovations and solutions to the nation’s challenges, even from corners of disadvantage. Nigeria's youths have demonstrated in all fields, including Afrobeats, Nollywood, the pulsating skit-making enterprise, education, science, and technology, that great exploits can truly come from small quarters. I commend the inclination of Nigerians - across artificial partitions - for unity, once again exemplified through their undiluted support for this epoch-making endeavour. I assure all citizens that my administration remains strongly committed to creating and expanding opportunities for the youth to explore and exercise their abilities and become the symbols of greatness our nation represents into the future.

Tinubu to Peter Mbah: "Democracy will survive despite all the intimidation. Ignore it, as I would advise myself. Stay focused. When you are succeeding and they’re angry, leave them in their corner. We had leaders who privatised electricity that is not working. They gave us darkness instead, and we are trying to get ourselves through that to build a nation of pride, hope, and joy, and leave our children with a life worthy of pride."

Dear Sir @PeterObi , I have read this over and over and I have few things to say. Please indulge me. No serious democrat will argue against press freedom. A vibrant media is essential. But framing regulatory engagement with broadcasters as “oppression” without acknowledging the complexities of modern information ecosystems fake news, incitement risks, and national security sensitivities, comes across as selective outrage rather than balanced statesmanship. We all know that even advanced democracies calibrate media regulation carefully, the issue is not regulation versus freedom, but proportionality and accountability. Now, contrast that with what has been happening under PBAT On the economy, this administration has taken politically costly but structurally necessary steps that previous governments, consistently avoided. The removal of fuel subsidy, long described as an economic black hole, has been executed, freeing up trillions of naira for fiscal reallocation. Exchange rate unification has also addressed longstanding distortions in the foreign exchange market, improving transparency and investor confidence. These are not abstract ideas sir, they are concrete reforms that economists have advocated for decades. On governance, there has been a deliberate push toward fiscal discipline and institutional reform, efforts aimed at increasing government revenue, reducing leakages, and restoring policy credibility. Implementation remains a work in progress, the direction is simple, a shift from consumption-heavy governance to a more sustainable economic model. On security, it would be intellectually dishonest to pretend everything is perfect, far from it. Nigeria continues to face serious threats, from insurgency to banditry. There have been lapses, and Nigerians are right to demand better outcomes. However, it is equally important to acknowledge ongoing efforts: enhanced security coordination, leadership changes within the armed forces, and increased operational pressure in key conflict zones. Progress is uneven, but the state is actively engaged, not rhetorically, but operationally. This is where your statement falls short. You diagnose problems, but you do not present a credible alternative that surpasses what is currently being attempted. So instead of broad declarations, here are the questions I want to ask you: On security: ✅Beyond general calls for decentralization, what specific structural innovations would you introduce that improve on the current multi-agency coordination already being strengthened under Tinubu? ✅How would your approach deliver faster, measurable results in reducing insecurity without fragmenting command structures or weakening federal oversight? On governance: ✅What concrete institutional reforms would you implement that go beyond ongoing efforts at revenue optimization, digitalization, and public sector accountability? ✅How would you manage political resistance to reform without slowing down decision-making or compromising policy continuity? These are not rhetorical traps, they are necessary questions. Because leadership at the federal level is not about sounding correct, it is about making difficult decisions and standing by them. Thank you sir.

Yesterday's Advocates of democracy, Today's Oppressor of the Press Nigeria is drifting dangerously. At a time when our nation should be strengthening its vital democratic institutions, we are witnessing a pattern that shows the opposite. The recent notice by the National Broadcasting Commission, especially at this critical time of the general elections, is very troubling. A free and responsible media should not be an enemy to any administration, especially one that claims to have fought for democracy. The media is the conscience of the nation. Attempting to stifle voices, moderate opinions, or intimidate journalists under the guise of regulation only weakens our already fragile democracy. Institutions are not built to serve governments; they are built to serve the people. At a time when insecurity is on the rise, young Nigerians are losing faith in the country, and the economy continues to fail the average citizen. Our focus should not be on controlling media narratives, but on delivering results. Nigeria does not need stronger control. Nigeria needs stronger institutions. I stand in solidarity with Nigeria’s media houses and broadcasters who are standing against this attempt to silence independent voices and restrict free expression. We must return to the path of transparency, accountability, and true independence of all arms and agencies of government. We cannot continue to endanger our democracy. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@YulEdochie This video says it all. Peter Obi cannot achieve anything politically. Even if he were the only candidate in an election without an opponent, he would still never be President. Wherever he goes, crisis follows, and any party he joins ends up in turmoil.

Any political party Peter Obi joins will scatter. Whatever he’s doing with ADC is dead on arrival. A total waste of time. It’s not a physical problem. It’s deeper than that. I’m surprised he doesn’t know this already. Or maybe he knows but chooses to ignore it. But the truth remains the truth. Peter Obi cannot be President of Nigeria now.

Those Tinubu haters are not doing it for national interest but for selfish interest (Batch 3) Recently there were propaganda of zero capital budget release and protest by contractors.... Before Tinubu became president.... The MDAs and civil service heads award contracts and disbursed capital budget... The decentralized payment was subject to massive corruption by the civil and public servants.... With monies paid for projects either not fully executed or doesn't exist at all... For example...the protesting contractors claimed the FG was owing them over N4.7trillion.... But the Tinubu govt meticulously verified their claim and realized they only executed projects a little above N1trillion.... In the past they would have received over N3trillion they never worked for.... In the last 25 years before 2023.... Civil servants and public servants have luuted over N27trillion in connivance with contractors from payment on inflated contracts, non exiting projects.... That was why Rasheed maina was able loot over N100billion.... That was why the former AGF Ahmed Idris was able to loot over N109billion ... There was weak oversight on how these MDAs release money... They insert ghost projects, duplicate projects in budgets year in year out ... And it was one big looting field... For the big and small men in the MDAs without conscience... To end these looting spree.... The Tinubu govt introduced the centralized payment system.... Where the MDAs can award contracts but the ministry of finance centralized payment platform..Audit and validate the completed.... With these magic wand.... The massive leakages that cost Nigeria over N27trillion in just 24 years is being completely blocked.... Though the process is slow and it's the reason for the carry over implementation of previous year budget...but it's efficiently blocking massive corruption... Those Civil and public servants who benefited from the over N27trillion in over 24 years under Obasanjo to Buhari...are not sleeping... They are on social media with those who benefited from them ..campaigning massively for Atiku and Obi who have promised to bring back the decentralized payment system to cement the Alooting Continua they enjoyed to the detriment of Nigeria survival.... It is because of Obi, Atiku and Amaechi Alooting Continua supporters that made the Urhobos to say..
