Dear Constituents and Nigerians, Earlier tonight on @NewsCentralTV, I had the opportunity to once again reaffirm my commitment to transparent, people-focused, and impactful representation for the good people of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II. During the interview, I addressed concerns surrounding the foreign trainings organised for constituents. I made it clear that these opportunities were not constituency projects, government-funded programmes, or financed with public funds. They were secured purely through goodwill and my commitment to advancing human capital development for my constituents. As part of this effort, I wrote to several ministries, embassies, institutions, and international organisations across countries including Vietnam, China, Taiwan, and over 50 other embassies, seeking opportunities that could benefit members of my constituency. While some may choose to commercialise such opportunities, I decided to make these opportunities accessible to everyone by throwing them open through a transparent balloting system. Constituents who emerged successful, possessed valid international passports, and indicated readiness to travel were duly selected and nominated to the relevant embassies. Since my inauguration into the House of Representatives, I have remained committed to delivering both legislative impact and practical constituency development. One of my major legislative efforts includes sponsoring a bill for the establishment of E-Libraries across all 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria, with the goal of expanding access to digital education and learning opportunities nationwide. I also moved for the establishment of a Vocational and Entrepreneurship Institute in Oshodi-Isolo, aimed at equipping our youths and residents with practical skills, entrepreneurial capacity, and economic opportunities. Beyond legislation, I highlighted some of the projects, interventions, empowerment initiatives, and developmental programmes I have facilitated across Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II like building school blocks in over 3 schools, Facilitated over 10 roads, Got transformers for streets, empowering SMEs of 300 constituents, Youth vocational training and empowerment and more. I remain fully committed to accessible leadership and quality representation. I encourage constituents to continue reaching out to me and my office on areas where intervention is needed, because effective representation is built on continuous engagement with the people.
