A Life Cut Short: The Human Cost of Policy Failures 💔
Jasmine Carpio was doing everything right. A 27-year-old healthcare worker at North Colorado Medical Center, she was driving to an early morning shift, saving for her wedding, and planning a family. That future was stolen in an instant in Greeley by an illegal alien.
Police reports state that 19-year-old Eduardo Parra-Corral—an illegal alien—slammed into Jasmine’s car at 100 mph while drunk, trying to beat a red light.
While Colorado Democrats have prioritized policies like providing driver's licenses to those here illegally, the tragic reality is that these policies don't prevent senseless violence. Adding insult to injury for Jasmine’s grieving mother, Parra-Corral was deported shortly after the crash, escaping the American justice system without ever standing trial for vehicular homicide.
Where is the accountability? * Jasmine’s family is left with a fundraiser and a void that can't be filled.
The suspect is gone, avoiding the consequences of his actions.
Leadership continues to look the other way while our citizens pay the ultimate price.
We cannot continue to ignore the safety of our communities in favor of political optics. We must demand a system that puts the lives of legal, law-abiding citizens first.
Rest in peace, Jasmine. You deserved better. 🕊️

🚨 WOW. Border Czar Tom Homan just gave the PERFECT response to Pope Leo
"I'm a lifelong Catholic. I wish they'd STAY OUT of immigration, they don't know what they're talking about."
"Because if they wore my shoes for 40 years, and talked to a 9-year-old girl that got r*ped multiple times, or stood in the back of a tractor trailer with 19 dead aliens at my feet, including a 5-year-old boy that baked to death, if they understood the atrocities that happened on the open border, I think their opinion would change!"
"And I welcome discussion with any of them, because they don't understand illegal immigration is not a victimless crime."
"Where President Trump had the most secure border in the lifetime of this nation, right now, lives are being saved. He's saving thousands of lives a year because he has a secure border!"
"Human traffickers are out of business, right? The cartels are going bankrupt because of that secure border. I wish they'd understand that."
"Because if they did, I think they'd have a different opinion."
Mic drop.

Broadway & 2nd. South Broadway patrons leaving Postino shouldn’t have to dodge needles and passed out drug addicts. Is this what “progress” looks like in Denver? @MikeJohnstonCO

@denverpost Have fun living next to that.
Denver is just one giant gov assistance social services city now. Businesses leaving, more gov dependents moving in.
Sounds like a great plan.

🚨#BREAKING: The woman who was randomly shot in the face 6 times and st*bbed to de*th while she was walking her dog in Atlanta GA has been identified as 40-year-old Lauren Bullis.
The suspect, “Olaolukitan Adon Abel” was also allegedly in the process of se*ually assaulting her before neighbors came to the scene.
Olaolukitan is charged with 3 other "completely random" shootings and the de*th of another woman.
We do not have to live like this.

@dobetterdnvr @DenverPolice I hear City Council is getting ready to pass a bunch more soft on crime policies, too. Especially for quality of life crimes- drug use/ dealing, vandalism, vagrancy, encampments, property theft, etc.
Should be a Lovley summer.

The one party Democrat rule in Colorado has created an insane regulatory environment so it’s no surprise we are losing jobs.
They also think money grows on trees and kept handing out social benefits like candy. Now they’re facing down the barrel of a massive deficit and cutting benefits for the disabled. This not competent leadership.

You know which states aren't experiencing "middling" economies & job loss? TX, FL, UT, ID, SC, NC...the South is doing pretty well
Here's the Denver Post implying CO's crappy economy is due to Trump when CO's economic problems are unique & began before Trump was even in office

Colfax & Race. Meth Camp Mike repeatedly calls for supporting small businesses, yet his administration has allowed open drug use, chaos, and crime to thrive right outside their doors.
Business owners here deal daily with the fallout while the city enables the very disorder that drives them under.
Talk is cheap, Mike. When will you actually prioritize safe streets so local entrepreneurs can survive and thrive? @mikejohnstonco #colfax

18th & Logan.
Denver is in a death spiral thanks to progressive laws & policies that enable public drug use and the crime / squalor that always accompany it.
Reversing the death spiral will require stricter enforcement on public use/dealing, accountability in the courts, and treatment mandates over unconditional tolerance.

Coloradans expected an improved business climate in the state when they elected a Boulder technopreneur named Jared Polis as @GovofCO almost 8 years ago. But he's been a partisan politician first, and a former business person second, over nearly two terms, leaving the state not with a stronger business sector but with a badly weakened one.
It just shows that you can't judge a book by its cover, #copolitics. He can talk the talk, but he hasn't walked the walk when push came to shove.
He's been assisted in Colorado's business climate collapse by radicals in the Statehouse who despise free enterprise, use the tern "capitalist" as a pejorative, and dream of regulating most companies into oblivion.
The core problem, however, is one party rule in Colorado -- or MISRULE as it turns out. Until we restore checks on one party's runaway appetite for 24/7 extremism, business interests and the job producers don't stand much chance of seeing a turn-around.
One party rule is bad enough. One party rule by raving collectivists who hate free enterprise, and freedom itself, is the kiss of death for a state.
