Gavin Newsom Says Elon Musk is ‘Turning His Back’ on California “Regulation in California created the conditions that allowed him to take the risk to become the multi-billionaire, maybe trillionaire, that he’s become … Now he’s turning his back on the state that promoted him.”

I was elected to the Texas House in 2021 after returning from the Trump Administration, where I served in a senior capacity. Five years later, the Democrats wield more power in the House than they did then, and by every object metric of limited government conservatism, last session was an absolute disaster. Despite gaslighting… the Texas House is NOT more conservative. Our "Republican" Speaker was elected by Democrats, the House Parlimentarian is still an Obama lawyer, the Speaker Pro Tem is still a radical Democrat, and James Talarico and Gene Wu are still in House leadership. Property taxes have never been higher, and are going up! The Texas government has never been bigger. Spending has skyrocketed 42%, and has never been higher. Government debt is at an all time high. Texas now has a HIGHER debt-to-GDP ratio than CALIFORNIA. Corporate welfare is on steroids. Wind and solar are still subsidized. Hollywood is getting billions of tax dollars. There are more government agencies/commissions/bureaucracies/regulations than ever after last session. The TEXAS GOVERNMENT is a top ten user of H-1Bs in Texas. The new "Texas DOGE" has somehow managed to GROW government. And Texans are less free. This is not the fault of Democrats (there aren't enough Democrats in Austin to pass a birthday resolution on their own)... but of TxLege “Republicans,” who gladly sell out their constituents for the popularity in the swamp that comes with colluding with Democrats to grow government. As government grows, liberty diminishes. Texans deserve the TRUTH about their government. And the next generation of Texans deserve elected officials who will fight to protect their LIBERTY! I will continue fighting against liberals (in both parties) in the pursuit of a more FREE and prosperous Texas. It’s an honor to be in this fight for freedom alongside so many patriots across this great state!!

When I need an example of a dumb statement that a guy made regarding girls and women and the "knowledge" men have regarding womens "cycles" this is the guy I quote. Without checking, I'd bet he doesnt have daughters and thinks a 9 year old on her period can make those kinds of decisions. Thanks for proving how ridiculous men can sound especially on something you obviously know very little about.

🚨 JUST IN: Pressure is SURGING to historic levels on Senate Majority Leader John Thune to CALL OFF August recess to allow ample time to pass the SAVE America Act Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) just joined Sens. Mike Lee and Rick Scott demanding NO RECESS until elections are SECURE 🇺🇸 OGLES: "If we don’t secure our elections, we lose our country to third-world Marxists voting in our elections!" "The Senate needs to pass the SAVE America Act TODAY. No August recess." He's right! THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE, before the midterms.

@tedcruz This is why I ask Grok or somewhere else before I jump in the ring and do something that sounds ridiculous! But thank you for fighting for the Save Act. Will McConnell vote at all? And how much influence do you have on Tillis, Collins and Murkowski ???

X can be a strange place. People routinely circulate falsehoods, which sometimes go viral. FACTS: (1) I am NOT the chairman of Rules. (2) McConnell is the chairman of Rules. (3) If McConnell stepped down, under the Senate Rules, Deb Fischer would be the next chairman of Rules. Moreover, I am an original sponsor of the Save America Act and am fighting tooth & nail to force a talking filibuster and pass it. We need to PASS IT NOW!
@Chicago1Ray 🇺🇸@Chicago1Ray

IT'S GO TIME 🚨 Ted Cruz is now chairman of rules, he has the auth to -Schedule mark-up session -Propose Amendments -Move to report the bill to the floor -Placing the (SAA) on the calendar -Cruz can push for rules changes In short.. Cruz can box Thune in a corner One thing is certain, when Thune put McConnell in rules, he thought that McConnell would be the guardrail... @tedcruz has the authority to get the Save America Act back in the discussion.... let's stay on them... let's go

I asked Senator Thom Tillis about his vote against the Save America act and whether it has anything to do with the money he’s receiving from industries who profit off of cheap illegal labor. He was VERY mad about the question. We deserve better than these America Last losers!

BREAKING: The House has passed legislation to make Daylight Saving Time permanent nationwide, ending the twice-a-year clock changes by a 308-117 vote. Backed by President Trump, the bill now heads to the Senate. If approved and signed into law, Americans would no longer have to change their clocks.

They keep passing along these false statements as if married women will never be able to vote. It would really help if it was posted very often on SM how married women will be handled when they vote. I have read they can sign an affidavit confirming their birth name and married name. Simple fix.

🚨 JUST IN: Outrage erupts after the NYC Department of Buildings REJECTS saving this 174-year-old church that was intentionally burned down, investigated as arson The agency that decided to demolish the church is run by a man named Ahmed Tigani Demolition will begin soon. ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS! NYC churches are routinely burning down now and the local pro-Islam pro-3rd world leadership are GLAD it's happening.

That may be true, so Alaska should be given special circumstances and options that other states dont get. Dont be 1 of the 4 Republicans who will be remembered for NOT voting yes on the SAVE Act. This was one of the last things LIndsey Graham spoke about before he passed away. Please vote with your party

Sen. Lisa Murkowski@lisamurkowski·
The Supreme Court’s decision today recognizes that states face unique circumstances in administering their elections. In Alaska, voting is not as simple as driving down the road to a neighborhood polling place. Many Alaskans live in remote communities that are not connected to the road system, requiring ballots to travel by bush plane or boat, which means volatile weather conditions and limited infrastructure can determine whether those ballots arrive on time. Even with Alaska’s current 10-day grace period for in-state ballots, we have seen mail delays cause legally cast ballots to arrive too late to be counted. Today’s decision affirms that states have the flexibility to account for these realities and helps ensure that every American who lawfully casts a ballot has the opportunity to have it counted. apnews.com/article/suprem…
