@zaltys_art the oversized legs on the 2016 design are really interesting and worth exploring. The proportion balance looks really cool, can stand up really tall (for some required reason,) or being able to move very fast in large bounds, like taking more inspiration from a grasshopper.

I like that hoppers wasn’t hopelessly cynical in this regard. It was nice to see a portrayal of a politician who is capable of change (a desirable trait.) sometimes a story can show how things *can be* instead of just reflecting how things are. I still think theres value in that.

This is why I don’t really get the criticism of Hoppers having a weak message. Jerry is more empathetic than a real life politician which makes him redeemable; unlike the real antagonist the film had who is more aligned with irl politicians and he ultimately got what he deserved.

The vast majority of laptop buyers do not actually do any amount of gaming on them so I don’t think that kind of performance enters into needs and would prioritize look/feel/stamina/macOS

And if you don't like windows you can install Linux and dual boot
Those laptop have bad battery life that's only downside

@T0anto @HammerPub @RohanKarMooN well, let's say SKG was fully realized and Wildlight releases a server dev kit after the official shut down. *Someone* would have to actually put resources together to make one and keep it going. Right now I see 380 people are in-game. Seems like that'd be a deciding factor.

It's funny that some of you are celebrating a game's death but at the same time, y'all were CRYING and hauling for Stop Killing Games initiative to be a success.
There's a limit in hypocrisy and some of you really love to cross it. Even if highguard wasn't my cup of tea, atleast i won't celebrate.

@Dreamboum I adore both games for different reasons. Catalyst for example has given me some of the most genuine "holy shit" reactions i've ever had in a game -- this part hooking onto the turbine was just one of them lol god damn

@hao0047 gotta practice stroke follow-through, use a little bit of stabilizer to correct for typical tablet jank, steady yet confident pacing -- it takes time. Procreate time lapses are fun but they hide the actual speed at which these things are made. SEVERAL passes from rough to final.

@fieldtreeroot @epppyyy Well shion is entitled to privacy if she hasn’t said anything herself. But if it were me, showrunning is years of hard/stressful work, combined with the terrible state of social media these last few years, I’d be taking it easy and enjoying life for a bit.

@epppyyy (a lil extra context) this was when netflix was cutting costs after the early covid hiring spree. They were also pivoting to making games at the expense of NAS (Netflix Animation Studios) planning to outsource all future animation. I think they're slowly reversing this now lol

@errand___ really though I had these in random places around an office I once worked at. They're made by SteelCase. I loved them, great place to take a break, do some drawing etc. The ones I used had a built in reading light and USB ports.

@Thdark101 Yeah I hacked my Wii already, very easy to do through the web browser. You can back up discs and run ISOs from an SD card or attached USB drive. Wii for GameCube + Wii for CRT’s and WiiU for U+Wii games for HDMI TV’s!
