@GaryLineker @LFC @FCBarcelona Gary never apologise for celebrating a goal in a natural way. If we can’t do that, why do we watch football in the first place?

@objective_cfc Not sure he’s shown anything better than Delap personally. Hope I’m wrong but it’s another striker mistake IMO

@fplfanatic I personally think he has attributes that could succeed at a higher level imo. (Better than what we’ve seen from Delap and Guiu anyway) Unfairly getting hammered without even kicking a ball imo. He’s only getting shit this season mainly because of his repeated hamstring issue

Chelsea have got to try and get on top of these Anselmino and Emegha hamstrings this summer …It’s becoming extremely extremely extremely concerning

@FFH_HQ @BigManBakar For you to be taken seriously you need to acknowledge the fact it’s completely stolen from FPL Review and has no relevance to Bakar whatsoever. I kinda respect that he’s scamming a living copying AI, but you guys need to be honest with your followers if you want them to sub…

IF @BigManBakar still had his Wildcard... Here’s the draft he’d go with for GW35 With a GW36 bench boost in mind. 🧠

@objective_cfc I have a feeling he will barely play for us. Straight out on loan and sold in a years time… i might be wrong but I just don’t see it happening for him

@fplblackbox_az Honestly I’d just stop playing if I ever got to a point of having 5 transfers. Or just play draft or something. I just find 0 enjoyment in rolling every week, but I don’t play FPL to be super meta AI driven copycat team, it just gives me some interest in the weekends fixtures 🤷‍♂️

@LetsTalk_FPL I’d imagine 45 or so at the weekend so he’s fit to start the second leg. Best case it’s probably 45-60, I don’t see the attraction myself

I swear I saw something about Martinelli picking up a hamstring injury....obviously incorrect - he's starting! So quite a bit of competition for that LW spot still - Martinelli/Eze/Trossard. Eze seems first choice, presumably not starting because of the knock at the weekend. Saka on the bench is interesting too, surely he starts against Fulham - one of the genuine differentials for the final 4 weeks.

It could literally hurt their development if they weren’t ready! This makes no sense. I’m all for giving young players a chance on the early side but this is downright stupid.
Chelsea Dodgers@TheBlueDodger

🚨 NEW: All clubs would be required to have at least one homegrown under-21 player on the pitch at all times under a radical plan being considered by Fifa. The plan is said by sources to be aimed at helping the development of young players. (@TimesSport) #CFC

@objective_cfc Unfortunately I think Alonso is the big name they throw out to appease fans when he won’t realistically join. His agent is the same as Iraola -so “met alonsos agent” is prob actually about Iraola. FWIW Alonso will have learnt a lot from Madrid -too soon for Cesc IMO, not ready yet

My fear with Alonso is his ability to manage ego’s. My error with Rosenior was to assume Chelsea’s young group would respond how the young group in Strasbourg responded - that his managerial style would work the same. That he’d relate, galvanise and that they would play hard for him. I assumed the cultural triad of the ownership, the manager and the players would work well and create a similar performance response to the Strasbourg group - overachievement …add in the extra quality we have and I assumed we would seen a better outcome despite Rosenior’s inexperience. I’m assuming the ownership also thought the same. But the opposite happened. Why? Because this group ISN’T the same temperamentally. Yes, they are a similar age to the Strasbourg team - but temperamentally they are the opposite. They have to be to play at a club like this. They have to have that edge It’s not good/bad, it’s not about shaming them - it’s just accepting it for what it is and making decisions around it - it’s just the reality. BUT - these types of personalities need to be lead by certain personalities imo. On a cultural spectrum, this group is more similar to Madrid than it is to Leverkusen imo. I’m not saying it’s the same, I’m saying it’s more similar behaviourally. We have CL winner, Euro’s winner, World Cup winner and the rest have also won some silverware together beating the reigning champions league winners. Strasbourg’s group have won fuck all and before Alonso started at Leverkusen, it was the same. Groups like this have more humility and are subsequently more open to be lead by humble people. Strasbourg’s fan base and Leverkusens fan base are also not the same as Chelsea’s. We have expectancy running through every aspect of the club. For me, Alonso looks very conflict avoidant in his nature. Like he wouldn’t give you a bollocking and drop you if you dropped your professional standards. Like he’d try to keep the peace and keep everyone happy. He looks humble as fuck which (as I said) works very very very well with certain groups. Humble managers work well with humble players in humble fan bases But this is an expectant fan base and an expectant squad - which arguably means, we need an expectant manager …not a humble one. I’m not saying he won’t drive respect, he will. But it’ll be more because of who he is (and what he achieved in his playing career) rather than how he’s acts temperamentally as a manager imo ..and my fear is, long term it may not be enough. I have concerns. In contrast, Cesc for example - on paper has a similar player CV to Alonso but temperamentally he is completely different - he has a serious edge from a personality perspective and would generate a legitimate fear factor in the changing room, keeping this group on their toes which I personally think this squad needs because of (as I said) the expectant environment they’re working in …it’s evident too many can drop their performance levels when they get comfortable. I think this squad could need a more authoritative figure. Look what this squad did to the last ‘nice guy’. Away from the squad, because if his temperament, I think Alonso would get on much better with the ownership than Cesc …but I think Cesc would be much much more successful on the pitch with this squad which is arguably what we all want - including the ownership. I understand the potential for friction with Cesc and the ownership (and with that fear and resistance) but for me, this is a simple conversation. “We want you, this is how we work, are you happy with the infrastructure on every level? If not, what are you happy with… “ Then listen - if you can compromise, weigh up the pros and cons and compromise. If you can’t, don’t. In summary; Temperamentally Cesc is MUCH more suited to this club and this squad culture wise than Alonso and with high level performance - these intangibles are MUCH more important than even coaching competence imo. 🔵

@FPLKamran I don’t understand the triple palace hype. Potentially (likely) no clean sheets there, maybe Henderson and a defender at a push… WC32’s Brighton with wolves H will probably match/ outscore palace defenders IMO

@objective_cfc I hated Rafa, but I don’t see Alonso as an ex Liverpool legend, even if their fans do. FWIW I don’t think he’d join us, but IMO he’d have full fan backing

Two of them will be eaten alive. My fear with the one remaining is our fan base will have the ex Liverpool link flipped on him the moment things get sticky quicker than you can say ‘Rafa Benitez’ Of all of them, I’d go for Alonso though. Has by far the best chance of the succeeding imo

@objective_cfc Yeah I think the job was too big for Rosenior, he needed a middle step between the 2. Unfortunately he couldn’t exactly reject the job.. feel for him but he’s never good enough (not his fault). Hate all the media abuse he’s getting though,he doesn’t deserve that it’s out of line

Tbf, if we’re stictly being objective - macfarlane deserves a shit ton of praise. A shit ton. Never been anywhere close to this level etc. On rosenior, I like Liam a lot. My error was to assume this young group respond the same as his young group in Strasbourg. Will hold that L. If he goes and to Strasbourg or a similar environment he’ll kill it though imo
