An FT correction for the ages...

BODIES on @netflix was a very interesting project to compose the score for. For a while I've wanted to put together a thread with some details on the approach to the music. It's taken me a while to get round to this (busy composing) but for those interested here we go...🧵

That all makes sense, and I think it's a good policy. Just two whines: 1. I would have had more bands. There's a big jump from £0 to £2,500, and that will mean anomalies and disputes around the £2m point.

It's time to be nice about the Budget. The council tax surcharge is a good policy. Very compromised/imperfect, but still good policy. This is why:

I can hear the guffaws right along the West Coast of the US…. in the St James Clubs… across private equity…. on the world’s fleet of private jets…. it is quite a feat this… quite the achievement… Cameron cashes in, Johnston cashes in, Osborne, Blair… on and on and on… but we gun for a woman with one home… who spins more plates than any of them…

Right wing media has had it in for @AngelaRayner from the start - they couldn’t bear a working class woman being so powerful & dynamic. She made a mistake & has paid heavily for it. Hope she’ll return at some point in the future - our politics needs more voices like hers
