@historyrock_ I’ve seen it 8 times as of right now, and still going again & again! That should tell a lot, but I’ll say it anyway: Absolutely phenomenal. The performances of Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean, & Bad are like watching the real MJ, and Jaafar portrays his human side so brilliantly!

Now that some time has passed, have you seen "Michael"? What do you think about it?

The first half was good then they did a 5 year time skip to 1980 and it went downhill from there with over dramatization but that’s Hollywood.

MICHAEL is now tracking to hit $940M-$950M at the global box office this weekend after a superb #1 debut in Japan. It’ll soon beat OPPENHEIMER ($975M) to become the biggest biopic of all time.

@Saintincity84 @GlobalBoxOffice Yes, it is a very mediocre promotional film only Jackson fans could love. It showed what the Jackson family wanted people to see about MJ. MJ was a wonderful performer, but MJ was also a very complex man with a lot of issues.

It is not casual film fans watching this more than once; it is Jackson fans who are going an inordinate number of times to try to get it to the $1b. The figures are inflated.

@sportsrapport I like Seger, but Springsteen’s less recognizable songs like “Darkness on the Edge of Town” are better than Seger’s most recognizable songs like “Night Moves”, “Like a Rock”, “Against the Wind”, “Old time R&R although his “Turn the Page” is a stellar” song.
