I still retain hope that the SCC won't be stupid and arrogant enough to try and rewrite the constitution through judicial fiat.
But if they do, likeminded provinces need to get together, pressure the House of Commons and Senate to support, and amend the Charter and text of Sec 33 to preserve their ability to use it.

We need to stop normalizing tossing the term “transphobic” around so loosely in this community. The intent of this video was not to harm the trans community, it was just meant to highlight the accomplishments of c1s women, which is genuinely appreciated tbh.

🚨Breaking: Bill C-220 that amends the Criminal Code to prevent judges from considering an offender's immigration status when determining sentencing, ensuring equal application of the law was defeated. Thus, Mark Carney & the Liberals have voted to allow judges to give foreigners committing crime in Canada a discount so they won't get deported.
