I am so angry, lost & heart broken tonight. I learned earlier today that my best friend from High School was on his way to work & got caught in the middle of a shooting between rival gangs. He never made it to the hospital and died in the ambulance on the way there. The only saving grace in all this, is on Sunday he gave his life over to the Lord. He leaves behind a wife and 4 kids. Oct. 1, 2017 LVMPD lost an officer, a brother, a friend, and a partner. Ofc. Charleston Hartfield was attending the Route 91 Festival when he was shot and killed while trying to save citizens around him. Officer Hartfields’ service to the community will not be forgotten
