Interesting trial design detail from Corvus. Historically, global Phase 3 AD trials see lower Black patient enrollment, averaging just 5% to 7% of total cohorts (Dupixent's pooled trials were 6.2%). Corvus enrolled 41% to 54% Black patients.
African Americans have an intensely Th2 skewed AD endotype where IL-13 and IgE drive severe disease. Testing an ITK inhibitor in a population that matches its core mechanism inherently favors a strong early efficacy signal.
