i’ve been the token girl so many times, my friends stopped referring to me by my name and started calling me any other woman’s name. the same men told me i only got to where i was because i was a girl. as if everything was handed to me

I remember times when I would be invited to minecraft events/smps/recordings as the “token women”, as if I was nothing more then a box to tick for people to say HEY LOOK SEE A WOMENS HERE! And to notice this has never really been fixed & is only getting worse is beyond sad to see
