Dr Boyce Watkins - Wealth is Power
The Democrats are the party of the KKK but we also know that black people became Democrats when Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act. What they also don't remember was when Johnson said that this act would have niggas voting Democrat for the next 200 years. Stop trying to tell me that the Democrats are not racist. They're just as racist as the Republicans. I don't want to be a nigga. I want to be a winner.

@AlwaysKnocking @IsaacHayes3 That why they ruled the south until the 90s. The same people that passed the Crime Act of 1994? The same folks that genterfy black neighborhoods? Should I continue?

What Nick Cannon said is exactly how misinformation spreads. Yes, the KKK was tied to Southern Democrats in the 1800s. That part is true. But leaving out what happened next changes the entire meaning. In the 1960s, after Lyndon B. Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the racists who supported segregation did not just disappear… They left the Democratic Party and shifted politically. That is a huge part of the story that keeps getting left out. AND THAT MATTERS. Because when we, especially Black voices with big platforms, repeat half stories, it does not just stay a conversation. It spreads and it can be used against us. We cannot afford to be loud and wrong at the same time, especially right now.

Barack Obama bears primary responsibility for today’s Middle East crisis. Had he not shipped billions of dollars in cash to Iran, they wouldn’t have had the funds to build their nuclear, missile, and drone programs — nor to arm Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. And by enthusiastically backing the “Arab Spring,” he helped tear apart once-stable nations and turn them into chaos and failed states.”

🔥🚨BREAKING: Nick Cannon has infuriated millions of liberals after announcing that the Democratic Party is “the party of the KKK": "People don’t know that the Democrats are the party of the KKK. People don’t know that the Republicans are the party that freed the slaves."

@JermaineMoore37 @LqLana She gave us an actual history lesson. She didn't sugar coat the dems......she outlined how the kkk of the democratic party left and joined the Republicans when dems passed the Civil Rights Act 1964. This is fact based in history. Maga is Southern Strategy 2.0. Pay attention.

Dear Nick Cannon, Southern Strategy refers to a political shift in the United States during the mid-20th century, primarily by the Republican Party. In response to the civil rights movement and the Democratic Party's embrace of civil rights legislation, Republicans sought out white voters mad about integration. By opposing desegregation and championing "law and order" and racist themes, the GOP attracted conservative white voters. This strategy, implemented from the 1960s onward contributed to a realignment of political allegiances, with many white Southern Democrats shifting their support to the Republican Party. That is how we got today's Republican Party. Only morons don’t believe there was a Southern Strategy. Let's be real, KKK, neo-nazis, Proud Boys, Oathkeepers, White Supremacist, White Nationalist all embrace the Republican Party. #DemsUnited

The DNC is currently arguing that we can’t deport illegals because 'who will pick the crops?' That is the exact same logic Southern slave owners used in 1860. The party hasn't changed; the labor has just been rebranded.

@drboycewatkins1 Southern white voters once relied on the GOP-hating Democratic Party to uphold racial hierarchies. But after the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the "Solid South" cracked. As Dems embraced civil rights, millions shifted to the Republican Party—a realignment still shaping maps today.

@AngrymanChannel People are labeling him uninformed for acting like the Democratic Party of today is the same Democratic Party of 1872. Nick Cannon likely had grandparents that participated in the civil rights movement. Which party pushed through those bills?

Labeling Nick Cannon 'uninformed' for mentioning the DNC’s KKK roots is a panic move. In 1872, Democrat leaders admitted under oath that the Clan belonged to their party. You don't hate Nick; you hate the receipts.

@MortellSHM @AngrymanChannel @JayVTheGreat Using 1872 receipts to talk about 2026 is like trying to call an Uber on a flip phone If the Confederacy is 'Democratic' history, why does the MAGA crowd cry when we take down the statues and rename the bases? You can’t claim it’s their past while calling it your heritage 🤦‍♂️🤣

@NevadaLiberty64 @dom_lucre Tell me you’re dumb and don’t know history without telling me you’re dumb and don’t know history. After the Civil Right’s Act of 1964 the racist shits in the Democratic Party switched to Republicans. Hence today’s Republicans were yesterday’s Democrats. But nice try.
