Report Regional Lille 🇫🇷 “2^ place” It was a very intense tournament, where I got to test myself against some truly amazing players. I really enjoyed this format and I think it allows players to express their strengths at their best. For example, Enel could be played in different versions: aggro/explosive, midrange, and control. I chose the control version because I believe that, in this game, having board presence is essential. Many of you asked me why I decided not to include Holly in my list. I’ll explain the reasoning behind my choice by looking at the pros and cons. Pros: Holly is very strong when drawn early in the game, especially on an odd curve, and basically against every match-up. It allows you to play more aggressively and it protects its partner Ohm, turning it into a 6k body. Cons: Holly loses a lot of value in the late game. Also, it takes away space from the deck’s consistency (especially regarding 1-drops), which in a very long tournamen as I expected it to be — could have been crucial. As I often say, my strategy was to prioritize board presence, so consistency (and removal card combinations) was fundamental. I want to thank my team @project7x_ , the entire Brescia community, and all the people who supported me. A special thanks goes to @YonasOPTCG , who supported me after what happened between us: psychologically, it helped me a lot. @FlecheNoireHS The problem here isn't just the players' "sportsmanship" in dealing with game situations, but also that judges use different yardsticks for similar situations, compromising the fairness of the game. As a player, I demand clear rules that are applied equally to everyone.

@FlecheNoireHS who had him take cards from bottom deck and put a random life. He then gave him a warning and let us continue the match. That random life was a 4 cost boa that he played next with jinbe. A few months earlier, a friend of mine who had something similar happen was given a game loss

In top 16 Mexico finals, In game 2 I forgot to put my life, Judge was at the table and didn't notice. On 4 dons my opponent attack and I have no life. Judge say it's gameloss, my opponent argue that he doesn't want to win this way and ask judge to let me put life from the top of my deck because it change nothing about the gamestate. Judge declined and gave me gameloss. But I was really thanksfull, because how acted my opponent was sportmanship despite the big prizes of final. Unpopular opinion, rules shark should be pubished when it's intentional. And Judge should also adapt, rules are rules but some rules are stupid.

And that’s it for this year! I have no other big events planned for 2025, since I’ve decided not to attend the Finals, but I’ll keep testing OP13 and OP14. I’m really proud of these past 12 months, with 9 tops including four 2nd places, but I’m still waiting for that victory! I’ve reached the first step of my dream, qualifying for Worlds, but the road is still long and uphill, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds! I want to thank everyone who supported me over these months, my girlfriend, my friends, my testing group, my Metafy subs and all my local mates from Sicily.
