A cosmic rose in full bloom — the Rosette Nebula, captured as NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day on February 14, 2026.Floating 5,000 light-years away in the constellation Monoceros, this spectacular emission nebula truly resembles an enormous celestial flower unfolding in space. At its heart lies a dense cluster of hot, ultra-massive young stars whose ferocious ultraviolet radiation blasts the surrounding hydrogen gas, making it glow with a vivid, ethereal red. The striking blue-white core marks regions where ionized oxygen shines brightly, powered by some of the most luminous stars in our galaxy — each blazing millions of times brighter than the Sun.This is no quiet stellar nursery. The Rosette is a dynamic, violent star-forming factory. Fierce stellar winds and intense radiation from these newborn giants are carving out a vast central cavity while simultaneously compressing nearby clouds of gas and dust. These shockwaves may even be triggering the next generation of stars. The massive stars at the center are living fast and will die young — likely ending their lives in spectacular supernova explosions within just a few million years. Meanwhile, countless smaller stars still forming deep inside the nebula’s dusty folds will shine steadily for billions of years to come.Images like this one help astronomers piece together how massive stars sculpt their surroundings, regulate star birth, and drive the grand cycle of creation and destruction across the Milky Way. ‼️Update Hanta/Andes: Ich sehe mit Besorgnis, dass die Covid PTSD Bubble immer lauter behauptet, Hanta/Andes sei wie Covid19 durch AEROSOLE von Mensch zu Mensch übertragbar. Dafür gibt es NULL Beweise. Auch der per Studie dokumentierte Cluster 2018, der fast identische Sequenzierung aufwies, hat keine solche Übertragung dokumentiert. Das macht auch überhaupt keinen Sinn; hätten wir eine echte Aerolsol Übertragung, wäre es auf dem Schiff und in der Folge zu VIEL mehr Infektionen/Krankheitsfällen gekommen. Das Virus müsste also mutiert sein, was laut Sequenzierung nicht der Fall ist. Übertragungswege sind der Kontakt mit Nagern und deren Ausscheidungen. Die ganz wenigen Mensch-Mensch Infektionen kamen durch einen engen Kontakt, über einen Zeitraum, zustande. Bleiben wir bei den Fakten. Im Übrigen bin ich auch der Meinung, dass man mit der Quarantäne strenger hätte umgehen sollen. Es wäre einfach sicherer gewesen!
