@galeof86@SkyNews That's how it's done in America. Non consecutive terms are counted as separate terms. As I said only one President has so far served two non con terms, Trump might well be the second
It's the same for many gubernatorial offices as well
There have been 46 presidents of the United States, who'll be next in the White House? 🇺🇸

@acotswoldvoice@SkyNews It’s not law it’s a strange traditional thing. If Trump is elected he will be 45th President. If you don’t count consecutive terms as 2 separate presidency’s then why would you count non-consecutive terms?
@galeof86@SkyNews As far as I know each president is counted separately. Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th president. Therefore Trump(President 45) would become the 47th given it would be a non-consecutive term
So under US law whoever wins becomes the 47th president.
Which political party in the United States do you consider to be more extreme?
Democratic Party 44% (+3)
Republican Party 41%

Offshore secrecy is a huge problem. It enables tax avoidance, sanctions-busting, dodgy PPE suppliers and drug cartels.
We've a new proposal to end it, forever.
@DanNeidle I thought FATCA and CRS provided the relevant tax authority with everything they need? And then should say the UK need more info they can request to see beneficial owners registers (pretty sure that is the case in Jersey and Guernsey). So aren’t the right people getting the info?
@realJoelFischer@harris_wins 538 average poll results in a statistical model, the same thing that Silver is doing now. In 2016 538 gave Trump a 28% chance of winning, which was pretty significant given he was 6 or 7 down in the polls at the time.
@PatriotT29670@PKurrent11765@Politics_Polls@NateSilver538 That assumes the polls consistently under record Republican votes. This is untrue. There is a historical polling error of 3-5-4 points but it doesn’t favour Dems or Republicans

She is literally in office right now..
It wasn’t too long ago that Trump Media was at $79.38 a share. This incompetent scion of massive inherited wealth has bankrupted company after company for decades. Now the suckers & losers who put their money into this will lose it like many other Trump investors over the years.
@MeidasTouch Weird. My wife and I went to Chicago last summer and didn’t get stabbed or shot despite walking around the streets. It is also weird that there is a Trump hotel there given it is a war zone. I presume he is working on the Trump Kabul
Michelle Obama: She understands that most of us will never be afforded the grace of failing forward. We will never benefit from the affirmative action of generational wealth.
@BehizyTweets Quite clearly the EU is only referring to X users in the EU. This is because as they point out, if a social media company operates in the EU then the EU portion of that company needs to comply with EU laws. It doesn’t seem that complicated and in no way affects the USA stream.
BREAKING: The European Union just issued a letter to Elon Musk demanding that he censor Donald Trump in their upcoming interview. Threatening him with "legal obligations" if he fails to stop the "disinformation"
Europeans are interfering in American elections
"This notably means ensuring, on one hand, that freedom of expression and of information, including media freedom and pluralism, are effectively protected and, on the other hand, that all proportionate and effective mitigation measures are put in place regarding the amplification of harmful content in connection with relevant events, including live streaming. which, if unaddressed, might increase the risk profile of X and generate detrimental effects on civic discourse and public security. This is important against the background of recent examples of public unrest brought about by the amplification of content that promotes hatred, disorder, incitement to violence, or certain instances of disinformation."
