Probably the worst scene in the movie. I don’t mind Nolan twisting the events of the Odyssey to fit his vision (as countless others have done) but this made no sense for Nolan’s Odysseus. Maybe if it was framed as self-effacement it would be better but like. Why did he do this.

IMO this one was worse because it’s more emblematic of an overarching, leaguewide issue—Sengun created no advantage and had no path to the basket. The Lakers were in great guarding position with TWO defenders. But throw your body into a defender awkwardly and you may be rewarded!

Jalen Green makes some truly baffling decisions. He does some great stuff too, but then he throws passes that have no chance of getting through or being caught. That last turnover was a prime example.

Anime fans will eventually have to come to same realization sensible comic book fans did. Different mediums exist for a reason. Most things in anime won’t translate well to live action. I can see kids enjoying this though.
