To those who support APC online. Let me lecture you a bit When a government is perceived to be unpopular, military take over is almost near inevitable. When you stifle opposition, you give room to ferment dissent elsewhere Don’t forget there are more Northern military officers

Boda Dapo Abiodun and Uncle Gbenga Daniels should both be disqualified from this Senate Race…Our Senate building shd not be a retirement House for Governors…there are a lot of young vibrant youth and individuals who can reshape this Country… Constitutional Amendment must include Term Limits for Representatives and Senators…Any Governor wishing to go into the Senate must wait 4years after His Tenure as Governor to try His luck….

Law enforcement gunning down a suspect who was already restrained, in broad daylight and under the full glare of the public, while fully aware he was on camera, points to a deeply rooted systemic failure. After firing the first rounds, he had enough time to reload; more than enough time to reconsider his actions or for his temper to cool. Yet he proceeded to fatally shoot the suspect a second time. This demands nothing less than a presidential-level panel of inquiry led by a neutral agency.

@mobilisingniger My own is what is stopping them from carrying along those they met in the party. They can come to an agreement with them and everyone will move on from there.

ADC has bigwigs political actors, but it is astonishing how they made a rookie mistake in taking over a political party. Technically now, if they want to contest for election they must recognise the previous leadership and conduct primary election, but the question is will they unite towards rebuilding the party or jump ship?

BREAKING: The Federal High Court in Abuja has restrained INEC from recognising any state congresses conducted by committees appointed by the David Mark-led caretaker leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Delivering judgment on Wednesday, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik held that the responsibility for conducting state congresses rests with the party’s state executive committees, not the national leadership. The court further ruled that the four-year tenure of the ADC’s State Working Committees and State Executive Committees remains valid and subsisting, pending the conduct of properly constituted congresses and the convocation of a national convention. Justice Abdulmalik also held that neither the Nigerian Constitution nor the party constitution empowers the caretaker/interim National Working Committee, led by David Mark, to appoint committees to conduct state congresses. The judgment is on the suit marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/581/2026 filed by Don Norman Obinna, Johnny Tovie Derek, Obah C. Ehigiator, Hon. Olona Yinka, Dr. Charles Idowu Omideji, Samuel Pam Gyang, and Obianyo Patrick as plaintiffs, suing for themselves and on behalf of all State Chairmen and State Executive Committees of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The attack on Eda Oniyo, in Ilejemeje LGA, Ekiti State, further underscores the urgency of establishing state and LGA police systems. I have repeatedly argued that the present centralized policing structure has failed, and there is evidence to back that position. Secondly, I have maintained that state governors must collaborate by creating joint inter-state task forces, especially around border communities. This would enable more coordinated action to drive these bandits out of our forests. Terrorists, bandits, and criminal herders consistently target vulnerable areas, specifically border communities, with minimal security presence. I have stressed several times the need for 24-hour border surveillance, which is only possible with adequate security posts in those communities. In Ekiti, the government has worked continuously with security operatives to rid our forests of these threats. In fact, the government has established Agro-marshals to complement the efforts of the Amotekun. Recently, an operation was launched to clear them from the forests. Still, real progress depends on coordinated, joint efforts with neighboring state governments like Kwara and Kogi. Kwara is particularly crucial. As it stands, Eda Oniyo shares a border with Obbo Aiyehunle, not far from Eruku, a community that has suffered multiple attacks recently. The Kwara State government should urgently meet with its counterparts in Ekiti and Kogi to establish this joint task force without delay. Lastly, the National Assembly must urgently amend the constitution to permit states and LGAs to establish their own police systems. The time to act is NOW!

@JustusOGD Either you or Dapo Abiodun should be running for the senate after being governor for 8 years. Being a governor is a bigger constituency than senate constituency. Return to your private business and face it squarely like you were doing before became a governor
