Ten years ago today, my life and the lives of hundreds of thousands of Yazidis were upended and shattered. Coming together with other survivors a decade later to commemorate the 10th anniversary in Sinjar sends a powerful message to those who sought to eradicate us from our homeland and silence us through a campaign of genocide and sexual violence: you have failed. Horrifying :@EuroMedHR documented the execution of Palestinian citizen Ramzi Abu Sahlool, 51, in the Mawasi area two days ago. @itvnews photographer captured the incident after citizens were displaced from the area declared earlier safe by the Israeli army. Carrying a white flag, the citizen tried to evacuate his family but was executed by the Israeli army.

It is open to debate whether Israel's massacre of ten of thousand innocent Gaza civilians constitutes genocide, at least yet. But as these clips from Netanyahu's civil and military leadership show, there can be little doubt of genocidal intent. Here, collected on this link, are clear and unembarrased calls for slaughter, erasure, nuclear holocaust and the levelling of Gaza, all on record, all on camera, from their own mouths. Its utterly, and completely, horrifying.

FNs Nødhjelpskoordinator @UNReliefChief Martin Griffiths møtte med nødhjelpsaktører og @KirkensNodhjelp i Damaskus i dag. Hans budskap var at det trengs 13-14 mrd USD til gjenoppbygging etter jordskjelvet og at vi må holde oppe oppmerksomhet om #Syria sine humanitære behov.
