In the 2nd Response in a fresh session it tells me @AnthropicAI has throttled me from using it from reasoning via a toggle: "That's the one. @gclawes @mweinbach its still not the same thing. you need the private key to be locked behind biometrics, which passkeys cannot guarantee

you CAN actually use the secure enclave/android keystore for this and make users sign their post using their biometrics. no biometric data ever leaves the device. still anonymous and still fully verifiable. it's the perfect use case

@justalexoki @mweinbach I think you can do this with passkeys. You can set User Verification to "required" and use device attestation + AAGUID/MDS whitelisting to ensure the passkey is either an apple FaceID/TouchID backed on, or android biometrics (for known android platforms).

@mweinbach passkeys cant force biometrics though, and that's what you want ultimately. forcing people to post from their phones isnt that weird actually, now that we desperately need people to prove their humanness
