The next Democratic White House does not need a court reform commission like some college seminar. We need action. We need term limits for Justices. We need to expand this morally bankrupt Court from 9 to 13.

Storm of thanks from Ukrainians. This is what matters 🙏Peace and people can’t have “buts.” If Zelenskyy’s team has nothing to say, except of accusing me of being “pro-Russian”, then it means they have nothing to say at all.

Here's the problem with redrawing maps. You're telling some voters they matter more than others. That's not how a democracy works. Last week the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act. Tennessee moved within days - carving up Memphis's majority-Black district. The state's only Democratic seat. Gone. A Republican senator said it on the record, “This bill represents Tennessee's attempt to maximize our partisan advantage." Not election security. Partisan advantage. Here's what’s missing. An Economist/YouGov poll last month found 71% of Americans (including Republican voters) say states should not draw districts to intentionally favor one party. These politicians aren’t just making decisions that block their opponents - they’re ignoring their own constituents. When neither side trusts the maps, neither side trusts the results. That road ends badly for everyone.

@McFaul The Russians have pretty successful. Crimea captured, land bridge created. 20% of the second biggest European country completely occupied. How could that not be considered success? Now victory would be the rest of the Donbass and that's likely to happen at any cost.....

What’s our plan to stop Hezbollah? How will we disarm Hezbollah, now that we have taken on this responsibility?  How will we prevent Hezbollah from regenerating and reconstituting its forces?  The Lebanese government has neither the will nor the way or they’d have done it in last year’s ceasefire that Hezbollah violated. I expect Hezbollah will see its tactics, of using buildings to organize, store weapons, and fire rockets , as successful and will do more of it given the declaration. And it will conclude that Israel can’t do anything about it as this declaration actually protects Hezbollah . So, we shall see. Israel has degraded Hezbollah without much help from anyone else.  They took out its leadership. They lost soldiers. They’ve relocated 1 million or so of its citizens because Hezbollah fires thousands of rockets into their towns. I doubt Israel thought it would be prevented by us from eliminating Hezbollah given everything our two armed forces have accomplished together as the closest of allies.  Iran wanted Hezbollah to survive. So, now it has.  And it’s on us to deal with it if Israel does not.

We cannot simply speak about withdrawing from Donbas as a matter of compromise. Our withdrawal from Donbas would open up opportunities for the Russian Federation to occupy our most fortified territories without losses. Some people say it would take a year to a year and a half to build new fortifications. But everyone forgets: first and foremost, that is a year and a half. And even if it were less, fortifications in an open field are a completely different matter from those in urban areas. They can never provide equally strong protection. A withdrawal would give the Russian Federation room for large-scale maneuver. They could advance either toward Kharkiv or toward Dnipro, destroying our cities. And two major cities would be at risk – cities that, incidentally, generate a significant share of our GDP. So many people have died there… The morale of our army would certainly decline. There would undoubtedly be a rift in society. The army – which would surely not support such steps – on one side, and society on the other. And division within society is precisely what Putin is aiming for. Moreover, there are currently 200,000 people living in the territories of Donbas that we are defending. Withdrawal does not mean preserving anything. You leave, and without any guarantees, you risk losing everything. And that is a major risk. From an interview with Rai Radio 1 (2/3).

Inviting Chinese automakers to set up in the US is bad for Michigan and our economy. The Chinese Communist Party makes these cars dirt cheap with state subsidies, and they're a national security risk: collecting video + driver location data, which could be sent back to Beijing. reuters.com/business/autos…

Trump’s negotiations were working. Thats why Israel forced this war by attacking Iran, to sabotage the deal he was about to make. Israel needs this war to reach their goals. We need peace to achieve ours. Whoever restores order will hold the power. This should be our goal.

Here’s where we stand. The Good: President Trump is paying TSA agents, and the current bill the Senate just sent over to the House re-opens DHS. ICE and Border Patrol will continue arrests and deportations, being primarily funded through the OBBB. Democrats did not succeed in sabotaging border and immigration enforcement in any substantive way. The Bad: the Senate goes on a two week recess without passing the SAVE America Act, stand-alone voter ID, or funding all of DHS through the normal process. Democrats threw a wrench into our efforts to deliver on issues which enjoy broad support among the American people. The Ugly: Congress, especially the Senate, cannot skate by relying on President Trump to solve all our problems. Republicans have to justify their majorities by fighting for permanent policy victories, not can-kicking with unrealistic reconciliation promises. If we do not stand and fight today, we will not inspire Americans in November.

🚨 STOP SCROLLING AND READ THIS. Newly unclassified documents suggest Ukrainian officials allegedly considered redirecting hundreds of millions of U.S. taxpayer funds away from clean energy programs and toward Biden’s 2024 campaign. There is no record that these claims were ever investigated. Americans MUST have transparency and accountability. This is HUGE! justthenews.com/government/sec…

Absolute humiliation for the Pentagon. Trump accidentally admits the multi billion dollar US Navy is completely paralyzed in the Strait of Hormuz. He confesses they are terrified that just a single Iranian missile will easily sink a billion dollar ship.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
