I have this really weird OCD behavioral ritual that I’m addicted to doing because it soothes me and I literally don’t know how to stop doing it. I basically just really like snorting stuff but because I’m sober I’m basically still snorting placebos because the ritual soothes me. I’ve tried aversion therapy and using a dog shock collar on my ankle to try to get myself to stop but it just made me start liking the electric shocks. What the fuck do I do about this I’m honestly out of ideas at this point so I’m asking the internet

Can we abolish death taxes yet? It’s pretty cruel and disgusting that the government tries to take from a family after they lose their patriarch/matriarch. It really seems like the government has absolutely no right to tax inheritance.

This happened to me with my grandmother when I was a little girl. I woke up in the middle of the night and she was there saying goodbye to me. The next morning I found out she passed during the night. She was my favorite grandparent, and I her favorite grandchild. I miss her all the time.

Amazing, ty for sharing. Yeah my Mum got woken up by my grandma’s old alarm clock going off at 5am - a clock that hadn’t been used in ages and was hidden deep in a draw in my grandma’s bedroom. She then got the phone call that she’d died in hospital shortly after that time. Vanishingly unlikely coincidence imo.

Steve Jobs was onto something. I’ve decided I definitely don’t want to die in a hospital. If I’m dying, take me to the beach or out into the forest. Bring painkillers in case it gets really bad. A sterile hospital surrounded by resentful hospital staff with compassion burnout is no respectful place nor honorable way to die. I reject our modern western medical system. It’s not what it used to be.
