Maybe 30+ years ago, every time I used only one ball for all 18 holes, I’d write with sharpie the date, score and golf course then collect the ball in a bucket 🪣 in the basement. A few years later, my wife got me a golf ball display. Aside from a few balls for special events (hole in one’s, kids first birdies, etc) I started organizing the balls by score. Every time I’d play a round with only one ball that qualified to be on the wall, a higher score would have to come off. It’s kinda a cool keepsake because it brings back some good memories of playing some very good golf. Unfortunately, now in my mid 50’s, I haven’t had a wall ball in a few years 🥲. But still working on it!
