@lifeofc The nostalgia just came flooding back reading this @lifeofc. 3 years ago already! Crazy! So happy to hear you bought one back to your collection. And forever thankful that you allowed me to collab with you. A truly cherished memory for me too 🫂

Just over 3 years ago, I was seeing everybody get these "bored apes" but I wasn't really into them, so I asked @geolwilliams to create a portrait of me to use as my profile photo. This turned into a 10 piece collection called "Portrait of a Collector". I kept one for myself and listed it at a crazy price of 43 ETH (homage to the number of self-portraits Van Gogh painted), never thinking it would sell. But then @caktux came along and bought it! So then I did not have one for myself. Today, I bought back one of them, "Portrait of a Collector (Electrum Splash)", and so after all of these years, I finally have one again. Thank you @geolwilliams for agreeing to go along with my crazy idea and working with you on this collection is one of my most cherished memories from being in this space.🙏🫂
