@EarlBecky77 @espnhomer The GM, in his most recent presser, was adamant that injuries were not an excuse.

@Peter_Bukowski Is there anyone good still available? The timing of this seems less than ideal.

Rich Bisaccia seems like a great dude. Guys in the locker room loved him. But if the Packers need a mascot, get a golden retriever. They need a real special teams coach.

@MGiannotto360 @Peter_Bukowski What a great exchange you guys had. Enjoyed the back and forth. I would say that at least they got a SB out of Big Mike before they had to move on. I can’t envision a scenario in which MLF is capable of winning a SB. Hope I’m wrong.

People love to bring up the 2010 team, but that team was injured in every possible way except the ways that actually mattered. Rodgers, Jennings, Sitton, Lang, Clay, Woodson, Collins, Raji, Pickett, Tramon … they were all healthy. Take Woodson, Jennings, and Raji away.

@Jacobtheclipper Did anyone notice how absolutely shitty that entry pass was? If they actually played defense, that would be an easy steal

@MarkTauscher65 I kinda feel bad for taush in the comment section, but I love that there are more and more GB fans that are completely fed up with the team.

It turns out the #1 seed in the NFC was the most important one seed ever. GB first goal next season has to be to win the North again and get home playoff games.

@espnhomer People are actually in Homer’s comment section arguing why they’d rather have Ed Policy? Make it make sense.

Both Morgan and Van Ness suck. The fact that they’ll be starters is an indictment of the rest of the roster, not a compliment of the process.
Sean@seanu82766

@EBrooksUncut Well, in his defense, both Morgan and VanNess will be primary starters next year and pretty damn important. But point is taken. I would have taken JSN over VanNess that season.

A reminder that Brian Gutekunst chose Lukas Van Ness over Christian Gonzalez. Yes, Lukas Van Ness. And somehow Gutey gets a contract extension from Ed Policy and the Green Bay Packers.

It took Mike Mcdonald two seasons to win a Super Bowl. He's now won as many playoff games in the past four weeks as Matt LaFleur has won in seven seasons.

@Wisconsin_fam That’s kind of an Aaron Rodgers stat. Their record since he left is above 500, but fairly mediocre. Aaron really propped up the franchise and covered up all the mismanagement that is now much easier to see in his absence.

@xmariomc @GeryWoelfel You keep saying relax lol. Tre Hendrickson was the 103rd overall draft pick in his draft. Nobody would have a problem with LVN’s progress if he was also drafted that late. The problem is he was taken 13th overall which comes with expectations of immediate impact.

@germanboehm @GeryWoelfel Relax bro ! Go look at Trey Hendricksons first 3 years once. A young pass rusher can take time and unfortunately he was hurt broke his thumb in year 2 that’s a killer for a edge because you can’t grab the o lineman to shed him then hurt his ankle last season. He’ll be good

You don’t think the Packers are kicking themselves for drafting Lukas Van Ness instead of Christian Gonzalez in the 2023 draft? Van Ness, the 13th overall pick, has been a major disappointment; Gonzalez, the 17th overall pick, has become an elite cornerback for New England. Some how, some way, the Packers need to find a CB like Gonzalez if they intend to make a deep playoff run next season.

@AngryGeese @PackersNotes Yeah, should’ve parted ways with MLF. But the decisions GB makes don’t impact my day to day mood. And I’m definitely not putting my faith in the current leadership team just because they got extensions. I am however willing to be pleasantly surprised by them.

@germanboehm @PackersNotes Being skeptical is good. Identifying weaknesses & wanting your team to improve is good. I wanted the Packers to move on from Lafleur. I don’t want to spend the next 8 months being upset because we didn’t hire a new coach or GM. I already spent a few days doing that.

I know Packers fans don't want to hear this, but if a team has the right GM and coach, it won't take eight or more seasons to get to the Super Bowl.

@xmariomc @GeryWoelfel Lol he’s going into his 4th season bro! Even if he somehow becomes a difference maker, that doesn’t change the fact that his first 3 seasons were a waste. That’s the issue

@AngryGeese @PackersNotes Well, that’s one type of fan, but there are other types as well. Fans that are more skeptical add a lot of value to the fan base. They raise concerns earlier than most and they put much needed pressure on the team. They’re not always right, but they are valuable.

@PackersNotes You’re not wrong, but being a fan is an act of faith. It is choosing to believe with your heart even when your head knows better. We have the actual season to be disappointed, which is why I choose, in this moment, to believe we can win with our GM/coach.
