It is my pleasure to announce that we have officially commissioned the landmark Nnenna Oti Bus Terminal in Umuahia, and it is now ready for public use. The project is a multimodal transport hub designed to accommodate more than 340 buses at once, powered by sustainable infrastructure and connected to our growing network of electric buses. The facility is named in honour of Prof. Nnenna Nnennaya‑Oti, the courageous INEC Returning Officer in the 2023 governorship election, whose integrity and patriotism remind us that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary results by simply standing for the truth. Her name on this terminal is not just about one person, but a tribute to all electoral officials, security operatives, party agents, and citizens who resisted intimidation and defended democracy. With 20 electric buses already in operation and more on the way in the coming weeks, the project signals our bold vision for a modern, safe, and sustainable transport system in Abia. The facility is also supported with independent power and water systems to ensure uninterrupted operations. In my address titled “Raising the Bar”, I stated unequivocally that we have moved beyond the era of small ambitions. We refuse to be boxed into margins that underestimate our strength. This principle underpins all our undertakings. I extend special commendation to the contractors, Planet Projects Limited, for a job well done in delivering this landmark facility. I also appreciate the dedication of the Commissioner for Transport, Dr. Chimezie Ukaegbu, the SSA Transport, Dr. Obioma Nwaogbe, and their team for the critical role they played in bringing this vision to reality. I call on all residents and members of the host community to take ownership of this facility, to maintain a clean environment, and to guard against vandalism. This terminal belongs to you, and its success depends on your care. I also urge all Abians to pay their taxes regularly. Development cannot be sustained without collective responsibility, and every naira contributed helps us deliver the future our people deserve.

JusticeCrack has never been cracked and will never be cracked. I was abducted by the DIA, who disguised themselves as DSS officers when they came to arrest me. It was only after Nigerians started speaking out and demanding answers that they eventually took me to the DSS. Their intention was to make me disappear, and if Nigerians had not intervened, I might have been gone forever. After three days of inhumane treatment, it is important for me to state that I was blindfolded and handcuffed throughout those three days. During the day, I was kept under the scorching sun, and at night, I was locked in a freezing cold room. Because this matter is still in court, I am limited in what I can say for now. However, the truth is that it was the DIA that abducted me and took me to the CIC. I only became aware of this after I was transferred to the DSS, where it was revealed to me. Justice can never be cracked

My Experience with the DSS @OfficialDSSNG (Department of State Services) -PART ONE I want to clearly state that this is my personal experience and account. On the night of April 30th, after days of being blindfolded and held by some unidentified men who initially claimed to be from the DSS — but whom I later discovered were not DSS officials — I was eventually taken to a DSS facility. At the time, I was still blindfolded and handcuffed. After arriving at the facility, I heard someone instruct that my blindfold should not be removed until we were inside. Shortly after, the blindfold was removed, and for the first time in days, I was able to see properly again. My vision was initially unclear but gradually improved. The officer who received me spoke calmly and assured me that I was safe. He asked if I knew where I was, and I replied yes because I could see the DSS logo on the wall. He noticed I was shaking and visibly traumatized, and he tried to calm me down. At that point, I was extremely scared and confused because I still did not fully understand my situation or why I had been taken in the first place. That same night, I was given tea and bread — the first proper meal I had eaten in days. I was also taken to the medical unit where my blood pressure and general health condition were checked to ensure I was medically stable. Afterwards, I was taken to a room with other detainees and provided with a bed and duvet. For the first time in days, I was able to sleep comfortably. The following morning, the investigation team began questioning me. Because the matter is still before the court, I will not go into details about the investigation itself. However, based on my personal experience, the DSS officials I interacted with treated me professionally and respectfully throughout my stay. Nobody shouted at me, physically assaulted me, or used force against me during the period I spent there. They also ensured that I had food and basic care, and I was even asked if there were specific meals I preferred during the process. I also observed that officials handling my case remained active on the matter, including during weekends and public holidays. From my own experience, I can say that the DSS demonstrated professionalism in the way they handled me. At the same time, no institution is perfect, and like every agency, there are areas where improvements can still be made — particularly regarding the speed of investigations and certain administrative processes. Again, this is strictly my personal experience and should be understood as such.

@JarkJ1 He’ll have to be convicted for me to say he committed a crime. For now, its alleged that he committed a crime, thus the arrest.

🚨BREAKING Rilwanu Haliru Sarki arrested by Nigerian Police Rilwanu Haliru Sarki, a professional footballer with Al Ain Football Club in the UAE and a former Nigeria U-20 winger, was reportedly arrested at the arrival hall of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Nigeria. The operation was said to have been jointly coordinated by the Nigerian Immigration Service and the Nigeria Police Force. According to reports, the suspect was apprehended upon his return to the country for his post-season holiday, after which he was handed over to the police by immigration officials. Sources indicate that the arrest is connected to "Sarki's" failure to honour several police invitations relating to a criminal investigation that has been ongoing for more than a year. It is alleged that frantic efforts are being made through calls to certain individuals within the Immigration and Police hierarchy to secure his release. However, it remains unclear whether such attempts will succeed, given the sensitive nature of the case and the potential international implications surrounding the investigation It is understood that he will be charged to court following the conclusion of the necessary investigations and due process. More to come..

This is politics. Stanley Osifo threw away N100 million just to get a handshake with President Tinubu. Stanley Osifo knew Tinubu owns the ticket but he still went ahead to purchase the presidential form at N100 million. Today, he met Tinubu one-on-one and received a handshake. A N100 million well spent.

Bro, you just have to give it to the Igbo people. So far, no tribe call out their own and hold their own responsible like the Igbos. This is one fact you must admit, even if you are a hater.

You're free to disagree. But on this app, I have seen more tribal bigotry from mostly people for the south west of Nigeria than any other region. The south western part of Nigeria are full of tribal bigots. And they're unashamed and unapologetic about it. End.

@Prinz_Land @instablog9ja I have switched completely to solar and disconnected my NEPA wire because of that meter issue. Do you know my meter got burnt and the company refuse to replace it for over a year. Whereas ordinary POS companies swap POS in less that a day! Nigeria is a dead country for real.
