Israel is wiping out bridge after bridge in Lebanon. What Israel is currently doing in southern Lebanon is clearly aimed at ethnic cleansing and colonization, using the same war crime tactics used in the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Displaced over a million people. Wiping out entire villages. Control of the sea entrances in southern Lebanon. Separating the South from rest of Lebanon by bombing bridges and roads. Civilians can't flee. Ambulances cannot reach the wounded or the hospitals on the other side. Laying siege cruelly cut off all fuel from entering, with threats to bomb aid trucks and medical vehicles heading south. Power is out in hospitals and homes. Food is rotting. Water pumps stopped working. Entire communities are cut off from essential supplies. Food, water, and medical supplies currently available in the south are sufficient for at least a month, after which we will see another Gaza in Lebanon. They are literally repeating it all on Lebanon, with flagrant violations of international law and the international community remains silent.

I continue to follow the situation in the Middle East with dismay. Like other regions of the world, it is torn apart by war and violence. We cannot remain silent in the face of the suffering of so many defenseless victims of these conflicts. What wounds them wounds all of humanity. The death and pain caused by these wars is a scandal for the entire human family and a cry that rises to God!

If you changed your name when you got married, take notice.    Under the SAVE Act, your driver’s license wouldn’t be enough to vote. You’d need a birth certificate that matches your current legal name. Most women who changed their name at marriage don’t have that. And getting it costs money you shouldn’t have to spend just to cast a ballot.    Republicans aren’t targeting noncitizens. They’re targeting you.

The former head of Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts sent a massive payment to Jeffrey Epstein in 2018. Trump says he cut ties with Epstein "15 years ago." 2018 was five years ago. His hotel executive was still writing checks.

In 1996, Maria Farmer reported Epstein to the FBI. The FBI buried her report. Years later, they claimed they didn't have it. Pam Bondi just turned that same report over to the House Oversight Committee. The FBI had it the whole time.
