@HecPenFel @elonmusk @AlexanderSoros Hungarians believe they elected a right-winger minus the corruption. The usual suspects are celebrating because they kicked out Orban, and they think they can capture the new party. Time will tell.

Disgraced and demonetized fake “right wing influencer” is now going full scorched earth on “MAGA influencers.” Funny how she was all smiles and accepting well wishes when she announced her pregnancy, but the second the money dried up she turned on them. Backstabbing on a whole new level here.

After a week of price discovery, here we go again — headlines & news taking over. Strong stocks ran, broken ones stayed broken. Indices hit resistance post-oversold while Trump posts spark the usual volatility & manipulation. News lines up perfectly with TA. $TSLA $QQQ $LITE $NBIS $AXTI

@emlindy @matthewdmarsden You should read the commentaries from the early church fathers. They teach what the apostles taught about those scriptures.

I was not trying to insult other Christian denominations when I said that the Catholic Mass has more scripture than most protestant services. Non-Catholics just need to know the truth so they stop with the accusation that we are not a "Bible Church." That way, we can stop with silly sniping. The more we know about each other, the less we will be divided. Catholic Mass (Liturgy of the Word) On Sundays and solemnities: There are typically three Scripture readings plus a responsorial Psalm:First reading: Usually from the Old Testament (or Acts during Easter season). Second reading: From the New Testament letters or Acts. Gospel reading: Always from one of the four Gospels. The Psalm is sung or recited responsively, drawing directly from Scripture. Many other parts of the Mass (prayers, acclamations, the Eucharistic Prayer, etc.) contain direct quotes, allusions, or paraphrases from the Bible—some estimates suggest a large portion (up to 70-90% in some claims) of the spoken words in the liturgy are scriptural in origin. Over time, the revised Lectionary (post-Vatican II) covers a substantial amount of the Bible across its three-year cycle for Sundays and two-year cycle for weekdays: roughly 14% of the Old Testament (excluding Psalms), 72% of the New Testament overall, with very high coverage of the Gospels (nearly 90%). A Sunday Mass might dedicate 10-15 minutes (or more, depending on the length of the passages and lector pacing) purely to these proclaimed readings. Protestant Services "Protestant" covers a wide spectrum (evangelical, mainline, Reformed, Lutheran, Anglican, etc.), so there's variation: Most evangelical or non-denominational services: Often feature one primary Scripture reading (sometimes two), which serves as the basis for the sermon. This might be a chapter or a shorter passage. The service emphasizes the sermon (often 20-40 minutes), contemporary worship songs, and prayer. The total time spent reading Scripture aloud is usually less than in a Catholic Mass—frequently just a few minutes of direct reading before the preaching begins. Liturgical Protestants (e.g., many Lutherans, Anglicans/Episcopalians, some Methodists using the Revised Common Lectionary): These often mirror the Catholic structure more closely, with an Old Testament reading, Psalm, New Testament epistle, and Gospel—similar to the Catholic Sunday lectionary. In these cases, the amount of Scripture read can be comparable. Sermon-focused or "Bible church" styles: The emphasis is on expository preaching through a book of the Bible over weeks/months (e.g., one chapter per week). While this involves deep engagement with Scripture, the public reading in a single service is typically limited to the preached passage. Services overall vary in length (often 60-90 minutes for evangelicals, sometimes longer), but the dedicated Scripture reading (as opposed to preaching or singing) is usually shorter than the combined readings in a Catholic Mass

@latinedisce Catholics and orthodox have far more in common with temple Judaism than Islam. Not even a debate. The Judaism of today was invented and don’t really come into play until almost the nicene creed era as they had to rebuild their new non temple religion after 70AD

A potentially controversial question—asked in good faith: As Christians, who do we have more in common with: - Jews, with whom we share the Old Testament but who reject Jesus, or - Muslims, who accept Jesus as a prophet but deny his divinity? Curious to read your responses—let’s keep the discussion respectful.

@getrichodt @elonmusk If $TSLA had marketing muscle, they would be on track to sell 10M vehicles per year by 2030, rather than looking at a third consecutive year of delivery declines and 1.6M deliveries in 2026.

Recall, I was a big fan of a sub-$30K $TSLA “Model Q” Compact and was disappointed when @elonmusk canceled it to focus exclusively on autonomous vehicles. Now it’s back on the table so it’s hard to know if that’s because Elon (or the regulators) can’t get to where Elon wants quick enough on autonomy or he realizes he was wrong for canceling the $30K Model Q in the first place. It could be a huge upside opportunity but I have argued for a Model Q Compact vehicle for years and TSLA lacks the marketing muscle to execute on such a product even if it launches it. x.com/garyblack00/st…

Let's pray Vance can save the day.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 The man who didn't want this war is now the one who has to end it... Vance heading into Islamabad reveals the impossible position he's in. He opposed the war. He told Trump to his face it was a bad idea. He cautioned against striking the Houthis in leaked Signal chats. He kept quiet during the early weeks, staying as far from the "debacle" as possible. Then Trump handed him the negotiating table. A close friend says Vance described feeling like he was "walking on eggshells" around Trump because of his antiwar views. Across the table sits Araghchi, who literally wrote a book called "Negotiations: The Power of Diplomacy" vowing Iran would never surrender its nuclear capacity. And Ghalibaf, the parliament speaker who mocked America's "no-strategy war" when the F-15 was shot down. A former Trump official put the stakes bluntly: Vance will have his fingerprints all over the fallout if the U.S. ends up on the losing side of a bad deal. But here's the thing nobody is saying out loud. Vance's opposition to the war is exactly what makes him credible to Iran. Tehran requested him. They trust that the man who tried to prevent the bombing is more likely to negotiate honestly than the people who championed it. If he walks out of Islamabad with a deal, it's the most significant diplomatic achievement by a Vice President in modern history. If he doesn't, the war he never wanted becomes the war he couldn't end. Source: WSJ
