@RobordsCarl @mangheloni @SabresFunStats Right - and Benson is a saint? Slew footing a player going full speed into the boards...okay, got it-thank goodness we don't have any dirty player.

@mangheloni @SabresFunStats Yes. It seems that McAvoy didn’t go in intentionally with the slew foot (that’s sarcasm). He also didn’t intentionally go after Benson in a premeditated manner. He’s a dirty player that couldn’t handle when it happened to him.

Last one since they’re done for the year. Bruins fans are right. Slew-footing is a dirty play. #LetsGoBuffalo

@mangheloni @SabresFunStats Or maybe Benson is also a dirty player...every team has them and he has to do it to survive in the NHL...there is no excuse for what Benson did...only in the eyes of die hard Sabres fan (apparently with the exception of myself)...

@SabresFunStats The thing about the Benson slew foot...he knew who he was going after. 1. Big hit on Dahlin which should have been an INT call. 2. Low bridge on Malenstyn 3. Slew foot on Thompson 4. Drove Doans head into the glass. Pay back is a bitch sometimes

@SabresFunStats Buffalo fans (and I am sure Bruins fans) can be insufferable. Benson makes a clearly dirty play-but it's excused as guy makes a dirty play-Benson going full speed and slew footing can end a career-can any other Sabre fan admit this? Can I see a response without "Yeah, but..."?

@FrankPesce00 @COAbrah_ Stop embarrassing yourself. Yes I played hockey but obviously not as accomplished as you (sarcasm)-so you must be an expert. Excuse me if I do not bow down to the "I played hockey at a hi level" poster.

@hershcan @COAbrah_ Do you know how long a "yard" is in real time at that speed and not on your slow motion video?...I'll tell you- it's a fraction of a second. Thanks for making my point-Benson's play was cheap-end of stroy...but "he's our guy" so its payback. Third grade logic.

Bs there is over a yard of distance when McAvoy puts the elbow to the head and drives his head in the boards. Just because the elbow wasn’t “extended” doesn’t mean he didn’t know what he was attempting. The play on Dahlin, Doan and the Duck check in game one warrant a response. Objective thought requires all the facts.

@COAbrah_ Very clearly? (as you show it in slow motion). That is how you finish a check-at that speed he isn't saying "gee, look at his head"...Doan is bent over-that is his issue, not McAvoy's...just petty "he did it first BS" justifying a dirty slew foot.

@JoelWBerry But he does say who. The people around Rubio. He doesn't know their names. Why should he? They're swamp creatures who are interchangeable. You know this. Love that the right is now embracing the reason they usually don't like the NYT, for it's intentional obtuseness

@sleepingman9449 @Pammadonna Nobody ever says it other than the poster I was commenting on? There is "evidence" the officials are to blame in every game...but only the losing franchises use it as an excuse. That is what 6th graders do.

@SheldonHebert4 @Pammadonna Allen is not now or will ever be considered the best QB in football...he is 3-7 in the same playoff round games where Mahomes is 19-3? Mahomes is on Mt Rushmore already...Allen is spectacular-but comes up small when it matters most.

“I believe socialism is the antipathy of capitalism and success. Socialism is the beginning of the destruction of the American dream.” John Morgan, founder of “Morgan & Morgan,” remarked on why some billionaires are abandoning the Democratic Party and aligning with Republicans after Democrats expressed more socialist-leaning views. @RobFinnertyUSA @JohnMorganESQ
