Christopher Nolan revealed that he wanted to include the famous “Nobody” wordplay from Homer’s The Odyssey in the film but ultimately couldn’t make it work.
The joke relies on Odysseus telling Polyphemus that his name is “Nobody,” so when the Cyclops cries, “Nobody is attacking me!”, the others leave, thinking nothing is wrong.
According to Nolan, the pun simply didn’t translate naturally into modern dialogue.
Don’t let the superhero genre fool you: #Lanterns has as much gravitas as HBO’s top dramas; in fact, it’s charting a more mature path for the DC Universe after the spunky adventures in “Superman” and “Supergirl.”
Writer Tom King has the comic book credentials to infuse “Lanterns” with plenty of references for fans, but he also brings a wealth of spy craft and detective knowledge from an unlikely place: He worked as a CIA counterterrorism officer from just after 9/11 to 2009:
“I've seen rumors that I started the Iraq War. I didn’t start the Iraq War. I was 23 years old. I was against al-Qaida and the Taliban. We were trying to stop them from doing horrible things. I was against the Iraq War. I thought it was the stupidest fucking thing. I watched people lie about stuff on TV, but I still had to go. It was my duty. I worked on some cases where people were going to blow up a base, and we stopped them. Should I have let them blow them up? Let those kids die because I didn't agree with the war?”

@PSSMKR they just changed the price of the currency too which is ridiculous and the reason I quit. previously $10 would get you 10 character rolls, now they barely give you that.

And the small community thats left is frustrated as hell over the lack of new content ever since the og dev team got fired, then the 2nd one. The current devs are basically limited to bug fixes and new characters
'Supergirl' screenwriter Ana Nogueira is attached to write the script for multiple upcoming DC films
• 'Wonder Woman'
• 'Teen Titans'
"They’re all just such great characters, and I can’t believe I get to figure out what I would do with them"

Supergirl writer Ana Nogueira on the ending of Supergirl:
"The ending between Kara and Krem was always in it, from the pitch. Because the comic ends with Ruthye killing [Krem], but in the far, far future. We knew we weren’t gonna be able to do that kind of time jump, and I find it’s quite a dark ending of the comic. So, we wanted to craft a villain who would deserve this, but we also wanted Kara to care about preserving Ruthye’s innocence, and to feel like she could take on [killing him], that she could be the one to bring justice to this man, and do it without burdening this child. It’s different for Supergirl, and I think it will feel different for audiences."
